Amy Goldsmith is a partner at Gottlieb, Rackman, & Reisman, P.C., a mid-sized intellectual property firm located in New York City. She is a member of the New York City and American bar associations as well as a member of the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. She was recently inducted as a director of the New York Women's Bar Association. Amy is involved in all areas of prosecution, licensing, and litigation regarding patents, copyrights, and trademarks. She is globally active in the protection of clients in the consumer goods, publishing, pet products, telecommunications, and designer goods industries and has an extensive background in genetics. Amy frequently presents lectures at the Pratt Institute in New York City, writes IP-related articles for Tableware Today magazine, and organizes her firm's monthly newsletter as a writer and editor.
