Sunday' special guest is Scot Spicer

A certified peer support specialist, public health professional and co-founder of National Mental Health and Dignity Day, Scott Spicer has over 15 years of experience in the non-profit and human services sectors. His experience includes working with youth and adults in community and university settings, as a community organizer,  as well as a peer support specialist in supported employment and case management programs. Scott has been an advocate for peer/consumer/survivor/ex-patient leadership over the past several years and is a proponent of  individuals organizing to speak out and take action for social justice and civil rights. He served on the American Psychological Association’s Recovery to Practice initiative from 2010 – 2014, is an active local leader with the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance and has served on the Board of a local Center for Independent Living.
