Do you have any idea what’s going on in the educational system across the country, specifically in the classroom?  Whose teaching our children?  No child is alike!  Therefore, special attention must be directed to help elevate them to their highest potential.  Believe it or not cultural competence plays a part in the process.  A lot of emphasis is placed on testing and the national averages for fourth, eighth and twelfth grade students.  But do you know what it means or how it translates to success or failure in life.  Tonight we have Dr. Andrea Walbrook, an educational community advocate in the area of special education speak to what we can do for our children.
