Talk Reel will be chatting with Sybil Reymundo-Santiago Executive Director and Head of Programming of the SOHO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL and Miles Doleac Writer and Director of THE HISTORIAN

SOHO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL celebrates its 5th year in May with about 70 something entries from all over the world. Sybil Reymundo-Santiago talks about the beginnings of the festival - the business of independent film making and how the independent film festival like SOHO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL becomes another venue for upcoming and professinal film makers to express their creativity.

Miles Doleac, has an academic background and serves as an assistant professor of Classical Studies at the University of Southern Mississippi. In Fall, 2013, Miles completed his first feature as director, "The Historian", based on a screenplay that he wrote.

The Historian is about a troubled, young history professor tries to escape his past by taking a job at a new university, where he struggles with an entrenched and equally-troubled department chair, rampant student apathy, and new relationships that complicate and challenge his worldview. (Miles Doleac)

Other than Doleac, William Sadler, Jillian Taylor, Colin Cunningham, Leticia Jimenez Tamarah Murley, John Collum and Glynnis O'Connor stars in the film.
