Kevin Harvick took the victory for Sunday's AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. He dominated the race winning both stages and heading to victory lane. However, when NASCAR took the car back to the R&D Center, they found an illegal modification to the rear spolier on the No. 4 car.

On Wednesday NASCAR announced the penalty to the team - Crew chief Rodney Childers and car chief Cheddar Smith will be suspended for the next two Cup Series races and Childers will be find $75k. Harvick was also docked 40 points putting him just three points ahead of the cut line as NASCAR heads to an elimination race at ISM Raceway.

What does this penalty mean for Harvick and his team? How will this effect their championship run? Did NASCAR get it right? What does this mean for NASCAR? We'll talk about it.

Plus, Martin Truex Jr and Cole Pearn have a new home for the 2019 season. It was officially announced this afternoon that the duo will join Joe Gibbs Racing for the 2019 season, driving the No. 19 Toyota for the team. This means that Daniel Suarez is out of a ride. We'll discuss Truex's expectations for the 2019 season and what is next for this team and for Suarez.

Plus we'll preview this weekend's events from ISM Raceway in Phoenix and take your phone calls at 917-889-8280!
