Seattle Musician: Kris Orlowski

The sisters rarely agree, so imagine our surprise when we realized we BOTH love the music of Kris Orlowski!  The stars have alligned.  And, speaking of stars, we believe this is guy going to be one.  

This is an interview we look forward to, and we hope you will as well as we discuss Kris' journey as a songwriter and musician in Seattle.  What inspired his lyrics that seem so much older than his years?  Where does he pull inspiration for his music from?  

Baritone vocalist, new folk songwriter Kris Orlowski writes from a real, unguarded place and that accessibility is tangible on stage and off. Unless you've had your heart surgically removed, these are songs that will move you. Conjuring the spirit of Everyman may not be glamorous, but it's also not easy. There are no walls here - only a palpable honesty and really, really good songwriting.

Sound on the Sound claims Orlowski is "a troubadour by definition, whose full bodied croon develops a charisma all its own."

With a new 5 songs EP out Oct. 16th featuring a 17 piece orchestra, Kris and his five piece folk-pop group are one of the northwest artists to watch.
