Staubs and Heinzo are back for another great episode of From The Touchline in Seattle. It's El Classico week and we'll have all the information you need for tomorrow's much anticipated Real Madrid v Barcelona match. Will Messi play? Will he score if he does? The Premier League returns after an international break and Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool face Manchester City in what will prove to be an intersting match no matter what the outcome. United travel to Watford without Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial and Chelsea try to get on track against Norwich. We'll bring in Sam Laity to talk about the Premier League and get his thoughts on the weekend. The final four teams qualified for EURO 2016 and we'll get to that, as well as a preview of the coming Champions League games next week and the MLS Playoffs on Sunday. Of course it wouldn't be a show without Heinzo's World XI and Stauber's Bottom 3. We've got it here for you today!!
Is an Article V convention even possible?; Our institutions of higher leftwingnut, totalitarian insanity; Fred Thompson, R.I.P.; House Speaker Paul Ryan is sounding very un-Boehner-esque; Obama embrace of Castroioid Cuba triggering biggest flight of Cuban refugees to Florida in over twenty years; CNBC finally unifies Republican Party; The Islamic State declares war on Russia; Obama declares war on the U.S. economy via the anthropogenic global warming myth; The White House offers Obama visit to boost ObamaCare enrollment; The Obamedia declare war on Ben Carson; "Transgenderism," sexual perversion, and mental illness; Obama "officially" kills Keystone XL pipeline he's been strangling for years, and greenstremists target ALL energy exploration and production; The new federal budget, same as the old, except for all the additional domestic spending and debt; Senate Democrats hold national defense hostage; and Obama's federalization of local law enforcement.
Then, in hour number three of the Saturday Afternoon Extravaganza on Constitution Radio on KMET 1490-AM (4PM Eastern/1PM Pacific):
Common Core nationalizes measurement of educational performance (among other things); Obama seeks to leave the nationalization in place but abolish the measurements; The debut of Planned Parenthood Cannibalism XI and XII; Democrats' gun control obsession produces 3-1 public opposition, record gun sales; "Putting violent communist revolution on the table," because Obama is just such a rightwing lapdog; and the shredding of the Constitution - figuratively AND literally.
What a week. English derbys, Carling Cup upsets, MLS playoff madness and more. Todd Stauber and Aaron Heinzen are here to cover it all for you. We'll take a look at the week that was and the weekend that will be. Chelsea drop yet another Premier League game before being dumped out of the Capital One Cup by Stoke City as pressure mounts on Jose Mourinho heading into Saturdays' match with Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp. In Manchester the derby disappointed with a dull 0-0 draw before United were blown out of the Capital One Cup by a lower division side. Back stateside, Didier Drogba scored his 12th goal in 12 matches to lead Montreal into the Eastern Conference Semifinals, while Seattle dethroned the LA Galaxy knocking them out 3-2 in a wild one in Seattle. Speaking of wild....we'll tell you about the Portland v Sporting Kansas City game that saw every player on the field take a penalty as Portland moved onto the Western Conference Semifinals against Northwest rival Vancouver. We'll preview the semifinals for you and give our predictions as we head into the first leg. Don't miss Heinzo's Halloween edition of the World XI, and Staubers' Bottom 3. It's all here on From The Touchline in Seattle. Catch us at Noon EST, 9am PST.
