Christmas- A time for all the bows anf trims, eggnog, and toys and Caroling and things, but what it really means exceeds the beauty that all eye can see. It's that time of year again. December has come and with it all the joys of Christmas. But what is the real meaning of Christmas? Is it the gifts under the tree, the lights in the windows, the cards in the mail, turkey dinners with family and friends, snow in the yard, stockings hanging in the living room, and shouts of "Merry Christmas" to those who pass us in the streets? Is this really Christmas?
Come join us tonight and tell us what Christmas means to you! I'll tell you what it means to me while I decorate my tree ;-)...
Let look at 1 Corinthians 13:13 The Apostle Paul uses this verse to completed his three-paneled portrait of love ( 1-3, 4-7, 8-13) with a final triad: faith, hope, and love. Much discussion has focused on whether faith and hope were portrayed by Paul as being (with love) eternal. The solution is probably found in verse 7. Faith is an expression of love (the word “trusts,” pisteuei, meaning in verse 7, is the verb form of the noun “faith,” pistis), as is hope ( Galatians. 5:5-6). Faith and hope, as manifestations of love, will endure eternally. So too everyone who follows the way of love (1 Corinthians 14:1) finds “the most excellent way” according chapter 12:31 of 1 Corinthians, because every individual characterized by love carries that mark eternally. The spiritual gifts will one day cease to exist, but love will endure forever. Listen in today lesson topic: "When The Perfect Love Comes" also visit us at www.uptopministries.org
This is one of the most memorable Christmas stories of all time since its A Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street. This is most definitely a true comedy that will have you laughing and falling out of your chair. Based from the short stories and some semi – fictions and semi-fictional anecdotes and narratives of gifted storyteller Jean Parker Shepherd, based on some of his own life, Nine year old Ralph Parker wants a particular air rifle for Christmas despite his mother and Santa wishes. Is this present right for him? Of course most of us know the ending. Anyway, Tune in Saturday at 6pm to find out more about the favorite Christmas Holiday marathon movie.
Tonight's show will feature discussions between myself and sky and we will be jouned on the phone by Janiece to conclude what we started 2 weeks ago, a Q&A on first time high content ownership.
Hoping everyone can join us for another spectacular show where real peopke talk about real issues
the upcoming episode will be titled...introductions, revelations, and overdue apologies. There will be two guests on the show that will be revealed when we hit the airwaves. And an overdue introduction to the other half of this two person team that will be a permanent host for all upcoming episodes.
it will be an exciting show and will have plenty of talk concerning an interview with a UCDavis spokes person and the email response from Becky, the geneticist at UCDavis.

Love will sensitively confront and correct precisely because it cares deeply and knows that sin destroys. Love rejoices with the truth. Love gets excited when it hears of spiritual victories. Love encourages by expressing joy over little evidences of growth. John, the apostle of love, wrote, “I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth” (3 John 4). Welcome everybody to another show from "Your Place". We pray that all of you have a blessed Christmas this year. In the past we have covered the history of this holiday, to include how it was actually started as a pagen holiday. Here in this country this holiday has been celebrated as a time for family and to remember the birth of Jesus. Or as scripture tells us, "God manifested in flesh." You have all heard me mention our friend Keith Franklin (the drummer) that I also work with. His wife Jalana was on our show with some well known authors detailing their christian romance book that was released as a group effort last year. From what I understand there is a new book coming out by this same group pretty soon. The last one became a top seller quickly and they can problay share with you how you can still get that book if you havent read it yet. You may even remember us sharing some Christmas music that their family provided to all of their friends last year that we shared on our show. What you may not know is that this has been a three year effort that has come together this year as a complete CD that you can buy and play in your home. This time of year they are both very busy with family and working to support their church family as well. It is planned for both of them to provide comments about this CD. I don't think Keith will forget to tell you that he is the drum player on this CD. But just in case we thought we had better put that part in. According to Keith, he is the brains behind this CD in how it was put together. Whoops! I may have messed up because I don't think we are supposed to say that where his wife and children can hear! The song that started our show is from this CD. So let us bring you another track and hopefully hear from the family about this song and others as this show goes on.
When God delivered His law to the people of Israel from Mt. Sinai, the forces of nature were present to bear witness to the holiness of the One speaking:
So it came about on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunder and lightning flashes and a thick cloud upon the mountain and a very loud trumpet sound, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled. And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Now Mount Sinai was all in smoke because the Lord descended upon it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked violently. When the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and God answered him with thunder. And the Lord came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain; and the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up (Exodus 19:16-20; 20:18).
