If you're on Pinterest or follow any trendy designers, you know that wallpaper is being talked about. But why? Join us.
It seems like the most-asked-about question in home decor used to be 'how do I remove wallpaper?' But these days wallpaper is now being recommended as a perfect way to add color and pattern in home design. So what happened? Why is wallpaper trendy again?
Is it new patterns? Is it that wallpaper is easier to install and remove? Why?
We want to know, so we're talking with wall coverings expert Laurie Laizure from Customized Walls. Laurie is the founder of the Interior Design Community on G+, IDC Hangout Host, Graphic Artist, Printer and Color Expert, Blogger, Social Media Guru.
"My habit of surrounding myself with people that are more talented, intelligent, creative than I am, has made all the difference in my career. Printing in the art and design business is the best job in the world and I am lucky to be in it" - Laurie Laizure
Farrow & Ball is devoted to producing unparalleled paints and wallpapers that transform homes around the world. They are paint perfectionists, creating unmatched paint colours using only the finest ingredients and age-old methods which have withstood the test of time and the passage of many a fickle fad. They also make handcrafted wallpaper created using their own paints to print designs onto paper using traditional block and trough printing methods, which is what gives them their uniquely beautiful texture.
Farro & Ball's meticulous approach to producing paint and wallpaper is rooted in their past. Farrow & Ball paints are born and bred in Dorset, England, in the same small town they have resided in since John Farrow, and fellow paint pioneer Richard Ball first founded the company.
From small beginnings their reputation for quality quickly spread until the pair were supplying paint to the Admiralty and the War Office. The company bucked the trend towards cheaper, acrylic paints with high levels of plastic, in favour of the original formulations and natural ingredients.
Over the years Farrow & Ball has been loved and appreciated by a dedicated and growing group of loyal customers all over the world who recognise the difference that attention to detail, quality ingredients and craftsmanship make.
Today, their quest to create unmatchable products continues. Over the years they have grown their range of paint finishes, and they have added wallpapers to their portfolio, but they have never forgotten their past. Farrow & Ball may have over forty showrooms as far and wide as New York, Paris and London, but every batch of paint or wallpaper, however large or small, is still made in their factory in Dorset, England.

Reba Riley is the debut author of Post-Traumatic Church Syndrome: A Memoir of Humor & Healing In 30 Religions, the founder of the Post-Traumatic Church Syndrome community online, and a blogger at Patheos.com
Reba grew up in a fundamentalist Christian home where the wallpaper & dinner napkins featured Bible verses, & the Smurfs were considered demonic. She told her kindergarten class the letters of Santa's name could be arranged to "Satan." Reba’s 10,000 hours of education included evangelical schools, Christian college followed by a stint at the Focus of the Family Institute with Dr. James Dobson, and an intensive ministry training program at a megachurch in Colorado Springs—a program that swiftly kicked her out when she shared her religious doubts with the leadership. Reba lost everything - including herself. Enter Post-Traumatic Church Syndrome.
Reba got sick. Really sick. With a near-debilitating chronic mystery illness doctors couldn’t diagnose or treat. At 29, the illness made her vulnerable enough that she finally had to face the fact she’d avoided for the better part of a decade: her spirit was sicker than her body. Reba decided to undertake a spiritual recovery program: she would visit thirty religions before her thirtieth birthday—not to find a religion, but to find peace.
Through her adventures, Reba realized she didn’t have to choose religion to choose God…or good. She discovered sometimes we have to get lost to get found. Two years after completing her thirty religions project and eighteen months after recovering from her illness, Reba is here to share dispatches from her journey of healing.
Join Hosts Kevin Hunter and Jeffrey O'Brien as they discuss Contract Law Integration, and specifically, boilerplates.
It has been said that every contract is made of two parts: the boilerplate and the important stuff i. For many lawyers, boilerplate has become the drafting equivalent of wallpaper -it looks nice, is always around, but after a while you don’t notice it any more. Black’s Law Dictionary defines “boilerplate” as:
"Language which is used commonly in documents having a definite meaning in the same context without variation; used to describe standard language in a legal document that is identical in instruments of a like nature."

As she became closer with individual clients, who expressed a desire to take better care of themselves her interest continued to grow and extend into the area of personal care. Her original focus was on nutrition and skincare, which lead to a partnership with Modere, a new company known for safe and non-toxic products.
However the area of greatest concern for women, in particular women of color is haircare. In response with this growing interest in hair care, she embarked upon a mission to help women of color to better understand their hair their dilemmas and find the best solutions for results they want. Therefore, she became a “Beauty Detective” researching the whats and whys of hair.
