Artists You Should Know is all about helping you expand your skill set and becoming a better photographer and business person. Skip Cohen is your host and today's guests are a very special couple in professional photography, Beverly and Tim Walden.
Based out of Lexington, Kentucky, they're not just a strong dynamic couple, but incredible artists individually. Their entire careers have been built on a foundation of quality, not just in their skill set and their images, but their friendships and support for the photographic industry. They both redefine the meaning of the word passion and staying true to all the things they believe in.
This podcast is all thanks to Breathing Color, a company built on a foundation of quality as well. For as much as technology has changed imaging over the years, nothing has ever changed the importance quality plays in the final presentation of the printed image.

They're determined to release an EP while remaining independent artists but they need help to KickStart things through crowd sourcing. Hosted by Tyler Wolf

In this segment of the D-spot meet artists who have used their dreams in their chosen work. Meet painters, poets and musicians who have received images, words and musical scores in dreams and who have practiced the 'art of recollection' to turn their dreams into reality. Hosted by Poet and Writer Joan Gelfand, this show will include a call-in period for questions and answers. Today's guest is American novelist Maxine Chernoff.
Maxine Chernoff is an American novelist, writer, poet, academic and literary magazine editor. She was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and attended the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Chernoff is a professor and Chair of the Creative Writing program at San Francisco State University. With her husband, Paul Hoover, she edits the long-running literary journal "New American Writing". She is author of six books of fiction and ten books of poetry, most recently The Turning (which appeared in May 2008) and AMong the Names (2005), both from Apogee Press.
Sometimes it truly is better to be lucky than good!
While everyone is pointing towards the pass interference no call on T.Y. Hilton that Malcolm Jenkins went on to intercept, let's face it, the Philadelphia Eagles would never be 2-0 if LeSean McCoy doesn't pick up a 3rd-and-15 and Darren Sproles didn't decide to become superman. And yes we're talking about that extraordinary, pinballing 19-yard score where a mere 5-foot-8 man broke three tackles near the goal line.
When Cody Parkey's game-winning kick went through the uprights for a 30-27 Eagles win over the Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia became the first team in NFL history to win their first two games of the year after trailing by at least 14 points in the second half of each contest.
