Is the day of the Lord a single day??? We open up and expand in this particular episode about the day of the Lord.
In the common understanding the day of the Lord is nothing but destruction for most of mankind what with the multitudes destined for destruction by God himself through judgment and then satan and the anti-christ .... well we have been given a horrific scenario. Then on the other hand we keep hearing of the last day revival .... and in most of the prophetic camp we are told to hunker down and just weather the storm in fearfulness and trembling. So who is right?? All or none or just one viewpoint ?? What if I tell you that these positions are partially right .... would you believe it?
Isa_2:12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

Well, I've been struggling to get my voice back. So today, we have a throw-back Monday episode where I delved into the archives of the Russinize Your Day show for this gem. This is an episode from last year, recorded on July 3rd. The day before America's birthday! Yay! So I hope you enjoy this throwback. I hope to be back Wednesday for the regularly scheduled show. It was fun listening to it, and it was quite surreal to see what we were talking about then, and what we are talking about now. So enjoy this throwback today, and I'll be back Wednesday to guide you through the news of the week.
It seems there is a feeling in the market that the novelty around pitch competitions has worn off – that they are not worth the work, overall. New unreleased data from SXSW Interactive (SXSW) is proving this theory wrong in a big way.
At SXSW, startups have secured $1.7B in funding!
Chris Valentine, a leader of SXSW Interactive is in the house today to provide more insight into this and even give tips on how social startups can stand out in the application process.
About Chris Valentine
Event Manager Chris Valentine produces the SXSW Accelerator and SXSW V2Venture, an annual showcase of the web's newest startups and innovations; as well as SXSW Startup Village and SXSW Startup Austin, two programs that bring together and highlights the startup programming for SXSW Interactive Conference. Aside from SXSW, Chris is the Founder and CEO of Adeo InterActive, a full-service event production firm. Chris has produced many other events and /or programs for such clients as AARP, Turner Entertainment, Busby Foundation, Business Investment Growth and Engage Digital Media, to name a few. Today is halloween, but the show must go on...besides, I'm not 12 anymore so I do not attend parties and play dress-up...at least not on halloween. So join me on the scariest day of today, and we'll talk some politics (I know, terrifying right?) and culturally relevant pop topics (Pepsi anyone?). Ooh, I get chills just thinking about it, and you will to. You're about to be Russinized! Don't fight it...
