A Review of Todays Trucking News

    in News

We will be reviewing the stories affecting trucking today and hoping some drivers will join us for a discussion regarding how enforcement of the sleep apnea rules are affecting them and what they are doing to comply with the physician's recommendation.  Are there more 3 month med cards being issued?  Are the physicians over stepping their authority? Did FMCSA not give enough guidance to physicians?  Have you tried to be proactive and address any issues prior to going for your DOT physical?  What's working, what's not?  Have you searched the web for miracles?  Why is it that many drivers have bad eating habits, lack of time to exercise or just plain can't pass physicals?  Drivers?  Companies?  DOT? Physicians? Truck Stops?  I believe all share the responsibility.  Let's discuss it?
