As a graduate of North Park University and Liberty University, she carries 25 years of experience as a nurse. She began her career working in pediatrics and then began to expand her knowledge with various positions in the nursing field. After being exposed to different experiences, she became an advocate for patient care initiatives. She used her passion to provide top quality patient care and motivation to help fellow nurses develop more skills, Emma then began to focus on becoming a nursing career coach. Although she was able to observe her patient’s health status improve, she gained much appreciation getting the opportunity to witness her fellow nurses improve on their clinical knowledge as well as develop better techniques so that they could become better nurses.
This week's episode of Travel Today with Peter Greenberg comes from The One&Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, Mexico. After being hit by Hurricane Odile in September 2014, Los Cabos was badly damaged. Like many other properties, the One&Only Palmilla suffered major wounds and had to close for a massive recovery and rebuilding effort. But now it’s back, and some would say, better than ever.
The resort’s staff pulled together as a community in one of the stronger examples of a public/private partnership. Arnie Weissmann, Editor-in-Chief of Travel Weekly, talks about disaster tourism and why now is the time to go to Los Cabos. Then the President of the Los Cabos Humane Society, Aida Trujillo, talks about animal displacement after the storm and how visitors can help…including international pet adoption! (Hint—you get to fly your new pet home…for free!). All of this and more on this week's Travel Today with Peter Greenberg comes from The One&Only Palmilla.
This week's Travel Today with Peter Greenberg comes to you from the InterContinental Hong Kong. Peter's been going there since 1980, when the hotel first opened as the Regent. Later it became the Four Seasons, and it is now one of the crown jewels of the InterContinental chain. The hotel even has a Michelin star restaurant.
Joining him is Senior Editor for Time Hong Kong Liam Fitzpatrick, who is speaking about the pro-democracy Umbrella Movement and how it has changed the dynamic of one of the most vibrant cities in Asia. And The InterContinental’s Director of Engineering, Harvey Wong, talks about the hotel’s environmental initiatives, including beekeeping (and homemade honey) on the roof. All that and more on this episode of Travel Today with Peter Greenberg.

The 15th annual WTTC Global Summit once again unites travel and tourism leaders from around the world, bringing together top representatives from the public and private sectors.

There’s all of this and more from the WTTC Global Summit in Madrid, Spain.
Tonight Diana Kerekes-The Take Action Life Coach will take the time to explain why she became a nurse what is it to be a nurse and to give tribute to the nurses in the nursing field. Many nurses are unsung heros they deal with more than people know. They deal with life and death decisions they deal with some patients that make their day and some that they wish they can tell them where to go.
Nursing is not a profession to take lightly It's a profession that can actually eat you alive if you let it. It can be rewarding as well. It was a difficult thing to give up my profession due to being sick with breast cancer. It was a chapter in my life I will never forget. I will never forget the patients and their families who impacted my life.
Come listen to night and get a veteran seasoned nurses perspective on nursing and see nursing in a whole new light.
This week, Peter Greenberg Worldwide broadcasts from The Athenaeum in London. Situated just steps away from St. James Park, this family-owned establishment is one of Peter’s favorites. He’s been going there for more than 30 years, and it started because of Sally Bulloch, the electric, dynamic general manager—and at the time the only woman to hold that post in a London Hotel. We pay tribute to Sally this week, as we’re joined by Tim Arthur, CEO of Time Out, who gives some of his off-the-brochure secrets for visiting London.
Also joining us is London travel writer and U.S. expat Amy Laughinghouse who talks about the best walking tours in London. All of this and more when Peter Greenberg Worldwide broadcasts from the Athenaeum in London.

This week, Travel Today with Peter Greenberg from Cairo, Egypt. We’ve been broadcasting at least once every year from Egypt since 1998. Tourism numbers are down drastically in Egypt, but, as a veteran traveler to the region, Peter argues that this is perhaps the best time to go! You’ll find hardly anyone at the pyramids, and while more than 300 boats usually travel down the Nile in Luxor, this year only about six are operating. Joining Peter will be John Boulding, CEO of Insight Vacations to discuss why his boat, the Tosca, is running—as business is slowly starting to improve.
A few ambassadors also stop by to give their situation report on Cairo and the rest of the country. Then, we go on a quick detour to visit celebrity Chef John Besh to talk about another city that knows all too well about recovery: New Orleans (especially as we near the tenth anniversary of Katrina). All of this and more during this week’s episode of Travel Today with Peter Greenberg from Cairo, Egypt.
