  • Threats and abuse on Traci & Friends

    in Education

Today I was again threatened by a caller (a marine) on Tracy and friends (show on blogtalk). Why? Because he was unhappy with my position, which is that there is far too much racism in America, and that wars are usually fought to benefit the rich.  The last threats I got on the show happened when another caller threatened me (when the show goes to commercials and some of the callers talk).   Even Traci herself has called me dumb, stupid and typically MUTES me when she's unable to really answer a question.  Today I was blocked because I asked questions regarding why she was dissing Cuba and their free medical program (for blacks and hispanics) even though I presented evidence that it is beneficial to said students.   Conclusion: The show allows bullying, abuse and does not allow true free speech.    I used to call because I thought the host and co-hosts, etc wanted an intelligent calm dialog. But after years of being vilified, attacked verbally, MUTED, called dumb, stupid, etc, I have learned that they just want people to AGREE with them, not to have an opinion that differs (and no amount of evidence seems to change their position).  American media often has major problems ... usually because hosts and producers promote propaganda, without considering the negative consequences.  When listeners are not informed of truth, or at least given accurate information... and when callers that do not agree with the show's themes are vilified, bullied, and their arguments twisted to suit the show's themes, then that is not truly transparent media and democratic production but blind dogma, that spreads hate and leads to a world of less negative and ignorance.

    Author Traci S. Campbell

    in Entertainment

Traci S. Campbell is a life coach, public speaker, author, radio host, IT consultant and founder of two organizations, the C.H.A.M.P. Community Project, and the “Beauty In / Beauty Out Tour”. The C.H.A.M.P. Community Project is a 501(c)(3) organization which aims to provide support to single parents and their children and teens. The “Beauty In /Beauty Out Tour” also known as BIBO Tour, seeks to recognize dynamic women demonstrating leadership in their communities.

Traci is the product of a struggling single mother and as a teen and young adult, this lovely young lady worked as a print model and as a hostess of a formal dining room at a prestigious hotel that allowed her to help her mother pay the bills as they struggled to make ends meet. Despite the perceived "glamour" of these jobs, Traci still experienced periods of low self-esteem and low self-confidence just as many young women experience today. It wasn't until she encountered mentors and role models in her professional career that she overcame these issues. Recalling this period in her young life and seeing the same issues rear their ugly heads even more in today’s young women, through her work with C.H.A.M.P. Community project, Traci developed the BIBO Tour to shed light on what REAL beauty is and at the same time, celebrate incredible women who are the TRUE role models for young women to emulate today.

More information about C.H.A.M.P. and BIBO Tour can be found at www.champcommunityproject.org and www.beautyinbeautyouttour.com. Her radio show is aired on BlogTalkRadio; blog articles and podcasts from the radio show can be found on her website at www.traciscampbell.com, Amirakal Marketing at

WOI Families Matter Special: A Fresh Approach to the Issue of Bullying

    in Family

Welcome to BlogTalkRadio's Featured World of Ink Network. Today (Wed. July 29, 2015) hosts Virgina S Grenier and Traci McDonald will be talking about bullying and its impact on society with Fawn Einarson-Nielsen, President of Hear My Heart Books Inc. (HMHB). Hear My Heart Books Inc. is incorporated in the province of Saskatchewan to focus on social entrepreneurship initiatives. They create and publish resources for children living in crisis and difficult life circumstances.Learn more at http://hearmyheartbooks.ca/

Fawn is also the author of the children's book, Spots, Dots...and the Nots?! This important story presents a real-life review of how bullying impacts society.  When the RED Spots and WHITE Dots come together to exclude the Nots, they create more and more PINK Nots.

    The story:

    teaches kids about human rights,
reinforces that we are all who we are meant to be,
    builds dialogue around inclusion,
provides support to the bully, victim and bystander,
    reinforces positive, respectful behaviour, and
reminds us that we all have a choice to exclude (which increases anger and unhappiness) or practice inclusion (where everyone can flourish and grow).
