Host Derek Simon recaps "Super Saturday" and offers a bevy of Breeders' Cup stats sure to cure insomnia.
* What BC race best suits Bayern?
* Which sophomore star fits the profile of a Breeders' Cup Classic winner: California Chrome, Shared Belief or Tonalist?
* Is the great Untapable back?
* Did Beholder do enough in the Zenyatta to make her the Distaff favorite?
* How do Belmont shippers do in BC races at Santa Anita?
These questions -- and more -- will be answered... maybe not well, but they will be answered.
Ed DeRosa of Brisnet.com and Dan Zucker of Predicteform.com take an in-depth look at the Travers Stakes at Saratoga Race Course with horse-by-horse analysis of the Midsummer Derby based on proprietary data from Brisnet.com and Predicteform.com.
Ed DeRosa & Dan Zucker take an in-depth, horse by horse, look at the Woodward Stakes on Saturday at Saratoga Race Course. Last week's Travers Stakes podcast had all sorts of things right about that race: Wicked Strong as a top contender, V.E. Day as a live longshot, Bayern as a play against at the price, and Tonalist as going the wrong way and not a contender for win spot. V.E. Day nosed out Wicked Strong at 19.5-to-1 to key a $83.75 exacta while favored Bayern finished last.
Ladies and Gents it is time for another fun filled 2 hours on Wednesday night!! California Chrome wasn't able to pull the Triple Crown off but was it fair for him to lose to a fresh horse? Our resident expert Michael Esposito also known as Espo will visit the Barbershop to give his keen insight on the matter! Espo will also be weighing on one of his other loves in sports the World Cup! We will be discussing the breakdown of the groups and who has the best chance to pull it off this year! Oh by the way there are also these two tiny events going on in the Stanley Cup and NBA Finals. Unless you live in somewhere in the Frozen Tundra of North America you should know about at least one of these two major championship games!
