Love, laughter and books always have a place at The Romance Bookmark and this week, I'm happy to say, I have a comfy chair ready for none other than Suzan Tisdale, self-proclaimed Storyteller, Author and Cheeky Wench. www.suzantisdale.com And I'm not too humble to admit that she had me at Cheeky...but the Wench thing pretty much sealed her fate as my new favorite and top of the TBR pile! I'm not sure why Scottish romances are just curling my happy toes these days... (It could be the kilts but I keep telling myself that it has to to do with the lovely scenery and my admiration for cultural frugality and self-reliance. I'm a terrible liar.) Come pull up a chair of your own and meet Suzan Tisdale! And then get ready to hit that "Buy" button, dear friends, because you'll want to load up on her wonderful series...
The Romance Bookmark is back and tonight we have Marlow Kelly on the show for a dose of our unscripted and highly unprofessional brand of author chatting. Let's face it, the less I prepare, the better it turns out! But please take a peek at www.marlowkelly.com and discover Marlow Kelly's historical romances with a touch of suspense, along with all the fun that goes with her blog, her recipes and the madness of being the mother of two while trying to get anything done! (I'm hoping she'll spill some secrets on that front!)
Love, laughter and BOOKS! Life is complete but it's always nice to stop at The Romance Bookmark and see if we can add anything good to our shelves to make Life Even Better! Tonight I have a new author, Andrea Stewart on the show and I'm so excited to introduce her to you! She writes Urban Fantasy and Dark and Epic Fantasy and has already gained a lot of wonderful attention from her short stories and her talented approach to world building! Andrea has been on a red carpet, so I for one, am already in awe of this young up and coming author! Stand back, Universe! This is a Star to Watch!!

tonight on our show we are talking about a very serious matter... the death of romance. in today's turn up society more and more we are hearing that romance does not exist or at least is not as necessary anymore. our youth today believe that the end goal is always the same "to get lucky" so why invest so much emotionally into obtaining that goal. so we ask you in your opinion does romance still have a place in Young America? Or should we just change the definition of romance?

I feel like a turtle sitting next to a greyhound about to ask how the wind feels when it's blowing past you...but I'm thrilled to cheer her on to victory even if I am a little jealous ;-

I write stories about romance. They center on learning about the characters backgrounds, personalities and life circumstances that mold them into who they are and how they love.
I am a sassy 40-something year old. I live in a quiet farming town in New England with my husband of fifteen years and our three rescued cats. After college I facilitated improvement in the physical abilities of children and the elderly then took the opportunity to enjoy my creative side. I love to sew, knit, write...sing and drink martinis (not necessarily at the same time).
