As most of you know, I started with my Wednesday Night program Recovery Now a few years ago. When we lost our regular Saturday Host, my intent was to sub in for a while, then pass the baton to a new host. I started sitting in "Temporarliy" on Saturday Nights, and low & behold...Temporary is relative. It's been over a year! It's also hard to find good soldiers to work on Saturday Nights!
My Wednesday show is full of fabulous, informative guests in the front half of the show, and the back half is Open Mic and Great Indie Music sure to inspire.
Months ago, Shannon Marie Hilbert joined us as the host on the 1st, 3rd & 5th Saturday Nights. She's done such a great job on the team, that her early holiday gift is to make her show Be Positive weekly, after tonight. I will retreat to my Hump Day show, where I do the heavy lifting. :)
Tonight I will kick back, talk a bit about service and passing the baton, hope for some fine callers and play some Fab tunes. Join me, share what's on your mind and heart...Or just listen to the grooves, from what has been my less formal show, most times. I'll carry some of that back to Wednesdays with me, but still maintain the high quality guests you've come to expect and enjoy. Mix it up a bit, and cohost some upcoming holiday shows. Congratualtions to Shannon!
Hope you'll join me tonight for my Saturday farewell, and pen in those Wednesday nights, as well as joining Shannon on future Saturday Night shows.

When we serious look at things today, it was told to us in Judges 2:6-15. For those of us that have by pass this please go back to see what the Lord has shared. So I’m going to address the subject of passing on the baton from one generation to the next. I really want to sound a warning to each and every one of us that, even if we are like Joshua and his generation, who knew the Lord and experienced His power, this is no guarantee that our children and the next generation will follow in our footsteps. Let me be as open as I can each of us play a significant role in helping to pass on the baton to the next generation with great care, because the race could easily be lost if we fumble the baton. Those of you that are parent I want to give practical instruction to, as well as to others who join in this task of help raising this generation, and let me be mindful and show in detail on how to pass on the baton of faith to the next generation because its very important that they understand its a might win the race. Join us and share this lesson: "Passing The Baton To The Next Generation" also visit us at www.uptopministries.org and continue to send in your requests there
We all need to be warned that if we aren’t careful, we’re going to lose our kids to the Baals of this world, the cruel masters to which so many of their peers are enslaved. And so, if we don’t want to bring distress upon our children in this life; if we don’t want to lose them to the gods of this world round about; if we don’t want to lose them to the fire of hell in the next world, then we had better learn how to pass on the baton of our faith properly to this next generation. The Republican Party should welcome Scott Walker's call for a closer examination of evidence for a rational legal immigration policy; Have cultural conservatives barely begun to fight, or will we even be allowed to?; C'mon, my Tea Party friends, did any of you really believe that Senate Republicans wouldn't cave on Loretta Lynch's A-G confirmation?; Why else would Eric "The Red" Holder, a reichsfuhrer who has shown contempt for the law, finally be leaving office?; Obama’s inverted Nixon Doctrine: anointing Iran the ruler and superpower of the Middle East; and the the jihad-genocide of the Armenians that Barack Obama will not speak turns one hundred today.
