What bothered you when you were little? Did your parents tell you that you threw temper-tantrums when you were two? What happened to that mentality that acted out "Watch Me -- I can do anything!"
Did you become associated with fear and doubt because of "Adults" in your life? Why do we rely upon others to be our barometers or thermometers? Meaning, who really knows what is right for you and who can provide or should provide for you or take from your efforts?
I say bring back toddler mentality! That is the very attitude that build America. It is still the attitude of people who come here today. People still immigrate to America because they know they are worth more to society than they can offer in their stagnant nations.
Let's go back! Let's daydream about what we are going to be when we "Grow Up" and let's make the world a better place by not following the "Big People!" Who are they anyway?

“I was diagnosed with ADHD and medicated at the age of 5 (it was ADD back then). I have been blogging about ADHD for about a year, to help gain a better sense of self and to help others gain perspective regarding their loved ones with ADHD, or to better relate to their own ADHD. This weekend we will be talking about the personification of one of the more difficult symptoms to deal with: my bottled up temper. I call him Tantrum, and he is “My Nemesis”. We will be discussing the ongoing battle with Tantrum, which involves choosing our battles, venting, and establishing a sanctuary to reign in anger. More can be found in the following blog posts:

I was at the mall today, just meandering, window shopping to pass some time. I was zoned out in my own world when all of a sudden I heard a kid just shouting and yelling at his mom. I kid you not, this kid said to his mother, “I hate you mom, you never get me anything that I want!” at this moment, his mom assured the kid that just last week, she bought him a brand new video game. The kid continues to throw a temper tantrum and act a fool. I continued to go about my business, until I encountered another mother and child scenario. This one irked me a little bit as well. In this scenario, a mother was talking to her daughter about how special she was and was just coddling the shit out of this girl. Now I’m all for positive reinforcements with your kids and all, but damn lady, your kid is not that special. I continue about my business and then I came to the thought of, “is this how every parent sees their kids”? As someone special? I get it it’s your kid and you’re proud of having them, but to treat them like they are the tits, is beyond me. So in today’s podcast, I will rant about whether or not today’s kids are being too coddled. Hope you enjoy today’s episode.
The NFL appears to have a huge problem with players committing acts of domestic abuse. In recent weeks three NFL players found themselves at the center of controversy for abusing women in their lives. The most notable is Ray Rice, who was seen on video knocking his wife unconscious on an elevator. On the heels of this story is an account of Jonathan Dwyer of the Arizona Cardinals accused of head butting his wife and breaking her nose after she refused his sexual advances. Then there is Greg Hardy, “The Kraken”, of the Carolina Panthers. In July, Greg Hardy was found guilty of assaulting his former girlfriend and threatening to kill her.
These were the most notable abusive acts by NFL players against women recently. There is another NFL player that has made the news for an abusive act. However, in this case it wasn’t against a woman.
Adrian Peterson, of the Minnesota Vikings, is accused of going too far in disciplining his four year old son. It is said that Peterson used a “switch” in disciplining his son and left bruises on the child.
ESPN writer Kate Fagan weighed in during an interview and called on the NFL to invest millions of dollars to address the issue of domestic violence and abuse. She even conveyed that we need to reprogram how we raise men.
What are your thoughts on domestic violence? Do you think it’s gotten worse over the years? What can be done to resolve this social ill? Does the Holy Bible offer a solution?
