This week on the Homestead Honey Hour join me, Noreen for an hour of introspection. A metaphoric journey on the road less traveled and how it relates to the lives that we choose to live. In this chosen lifestyle, no matter what you like to call it, prepping, homesteading, preparedness, survivalism, we are all choosing the road less traveled and sometimes we wonder, should we have taken the other road?
Join me on Thursday evening for a thought provoking edition of the Homestead Honey Hour. I’m sure Robert Frost will be there in spirit!

In some ways, it may seem counterintuitive to have to learn to know yourself.
Surely that should be a given, right? Not necessarily. Everyone is searching
for their TRUE authentic self!

While our experiences clearly helped shape us into the people we are today, this does not mean that we necessarily know who we really are—what we are passionate about and what we want from life.
Since we were tiny, we’ve developed beliefs and values, some good and some not so good, as a result of our environment and the pressure from society to conform.
Having an older sister who was academically superior to me made me feel worthless and led to issues with low self-esteem.

Today, I wanna discuss and define; the difference of being "obligated" and being "taken advantage of"...where's the thin line seperating the two? ...When do you know, how do you know...We're going to break it down with womens views and mens views rite here on The Get Heard Show!!!
AreYouScreening.com host and BFCA film critic, Marc Eastman, and co-host extraordinaire, Shane Leonard, review Taken 2.
A black hole week finds us finally making our way to Taken 2, which has led the box office two weeks in a row.
We'll not only look at the film itself, but we'll be waxing poetic on how it took such a lead against the competition, and we have some interview clips with Liam Neeson to stir things up.
Today I want to talk about the reasons CYS may take your child.
Divorce-an angry spouse accuses you of harming or neglecting the child or abusing drugs or alcohol.
Angry Neighbor-Because of noise or where you park your car they may call in and make false reports about what they have seen you do to or with your child.
Truancy-Big issue in PA many kids are being taken and put in foster care because of not attending school.
Illness-I have heard too many cases of late where a single mother fell ill and the child was taken and put into foster care instead of a relatives care. Or as we just experienced the Pellitiers who lost their daughter to the care of the state because her parents didn't agree with her medical care.
You could also walk into a dr office or emergency with aperfectly innocent fall of your childs or illness and CYS is there to snag your child before you have a chance to even guess what is going on.
HAS YOUR SPIRITUALITY TAKEN AWAY YOUR
RIGHTS and FREEDOM OF SPEECH???
Today on HELP! Relationships102, we address, what is perhaps the biggest reason why so many Christians are afraid of loving—even with Christ's love! Jesus once said that the world would know we are Christians by our love! As it stands now, we in Christendom are not noted for our love!
What do you do when you want to love, but are afraid of being victimized by your Christian love?
Join us as we address this unaddressed issue!
