Tabernacles-Sukkot 2014 Pt2 will be covering the sukkah of Christ and how we are one with his sukkah or house. We are part of the Tabernacle of Christ and of his Body. Tabernacles is one of the three pilgrim feasts and this year.

Tabernacles represents a time of restored fellowship with God through Yeshua.  Yeshua, Jesus Christ is our Hight Priest and now we have access through him to the heavenly temple of God.

Moreover, not only can we come bodily into the presence of God through Christ, we are now members of the greater temple of his body. We are now part of his Sukkah.

Tabernacles or Sukkot is one of the three pilgrim feasts and this year, again the feast falls during the four blood moons from 2014 to 2015. It represents a time of restored fellowship with God through Yeshua.  Yeshua, Jesus Christ is our Hight Priest and now we have access through him to the heavenly temple of God.

Moreover, not only can we come bodily into the presence of God through Christ, we are now members of the greater temple of his body. We are now part of his Sukkah. This is a time when we take a period of 7 days and rejoice before the Lord. Many at this build Sukkahs or booths, have evening meals, and read scripture pertaining to this feast. It is a joyous time full of hope as look for the Lord to come and sit on his throne and rule and reign.  It is a time when we look forward to our redemption and completion in Yeshua when he comes.

    in Religion

    Tabernacles Sukkot 2013 Part 2 |ID# shabb-091313-sukkot-pt2
Sukkot part 2: The Tabernacle of your Body and Christ!
Tabernacles is the conclusion of the fall feasts: Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot [Tabernacles]. Tonight we discuss this in connection with the Tabernacle of the body
Tabernacles: Sukkot is the last of the three annual pilgrimage festivals:
Pesach[Passover]- corresponded to the barley harvest, combined with unleavened bread.
Shavu’ot [Pentecost]- corresponded to the wheat harvest, aka ‘feast of weeks’
Sukkot [Tabernacles]- corresponded to the fruit harvest, aka ‘feast of ingathering’
When you came, you were not to appear before the Lord empty. It is that time of the year you bring something and lay at the feet of the Prophet.
Christ our High Priest and Tabernacles
    Heb 9:11-28
    11  But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
2Co 5:1  For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
Deu 16:16  Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:

The First Thanksgiving and the Feast of Sukkot

    in Spirituality

In 1620, 102 Pilgrims, Separatists from the Church of England sailed east across the Atlantic aboard the cramped 100 ft. "Mayflower" in a voyage that if compared with today, would be like a voyage to the moon. For 66 days they lived in an ill-lighted, close-quartered, rolling, pitching, stinking, over-heated "below-decks"; the hatches battened down, the smell of the bilge in their nostrils, and the crew hostile towards Separatists. Cloistered in a space the size of a volleyball court, 102 people with their spiritual leader William Bradford endured the unendurable. Bradford spoke of this voyage in his and Edward Winslow's work: Thanksgiving Readings, also with his first-hand account of the first harvest celebration in America. And in it, he makes a direct connection with the Hebrew experience of the Exodus from Egypt. In his account, he uses the language of Jewish Sukkot:The Feast of Tabernacles. How did Bradford see both events as similar? Tune in and take notes! Your host, Rev. Rick Anderson, on "Jewish Roots", each Thursday at 9:30 pm, EST at www.ScripturesDramatized.com. Internet Podcast LIVE radio. To call in with a question or comment: 347-324-5759.
