    Famous cases 4 modern conspiracy: rabbit hole,sinkhole:Boston (cont'd) & JFK 4

    in Politics

Finishing with Boston marathon, moving on to JFK. Using the same position that unprejudiced juries are actually willing to be biased both ways, to move with suggestions from evidence. All evidence is merely suggestive, at some level. It is whether we move carefully before gathering evidence (of any kind) and move carefully to expand or change theory (argument storyline) only step by step, however bizarre the theory (explanatory argument) might seem if one is not following it an fleshing it out.

Sexting, Body Part Pix & Twerking Vids; Is It OK?

    in Romance

Sexting is defined as sending provocative personal pictures or video, taken of oneself, alone or by a friend, to a boyfriend/girlfriend. Such images may be:
    sexually suggestive...
    semi-nude or nude...
    intimate body parts...
but they do NOT include spam or sexy images of people you do not know personally. Sexting refers to pictures, video and video chats sent to or from a computer or cell phone; and/or are posted in an online scrapbook or a social networking site such as facebook or myspace.

There are many different reasons that people sext.

Sexting may be a new type of “mating call”.
Sexting may be another way to gossip.
Sexting may be a way to have fun or be funny.
Sexting may be a way to improve social status.
Sexting may be malicious, a form of sexual harassment.

When you're sexting, do you get a Phoner?

How often should we eat MEAT ?

    in Radio

One of the most basic concepts in science is that correlation does not imply causation—even though it is sometimes highly suggestive of it. For example, in post-war Germany, as the stork population fell, so did the human birth rate. But as I was deeply troubled to learn, storks do not cause babies—rather, economic growth led to both destruction of stork habitat, and to declining fertility rates.

So it goes with vegetarianism and longevity. It’s absolutely true that vegetarians live longer (at least among Seventh Day Adventists, the target group of the study). In fact, in this study, vegetarians live six to nine years longer, which is a huge effect. But vegetarians are also more likely to exercise, be married, smoke less and drink less alcohol—all factors that also contribute to a longer life. The actual causal relationship between becoming vegetarian and living longer is unclear, and is certainly smaller than the correlation might seem to suggest.

Now, should you be vegetarian, or at least a meat-reducer? Absolutely. In the hidden confines of factory farms, animals live in conditions of suffering that no decent human being could sanction. Eating a single egg means that one hen was locked in a cage in darkness, barely able to move, for 24 hours. Was it worth it, in exchange for the cost of going free range, or even switching to porridge in the morning? It

    What in the #Wubbing?

    in Culture

I hate to even put a spotlight on this new phenomenon called "wubbing," but I can't resist talking about it.  Wubbing is one of the newest and peculiar dances on the scene these days.  You have to look at a photo or video to understand it, but I'll do my best to describe it:

It's a prop that fits in the crotch area of your pants and hangs down like an extremely large penis.  It appears to be made of foam rubber, so it looks like a decorative pillow that droops down.  The dancers do suggestive moves with it in the form of a dance routine.  Those moves may include "sword fighting" with other "wubbers" (I have no idea if that's what they're called), it can include someone getting on their knees in front of it and getting "sprayed" with the dangling object, and many other lewd acts (according to what a dancer in the video I saw quoted from his local police department).

There have been talk ever since black men starting sagging their jeans of a conspiracy theory.  The theory basically states that between prison life (rape), sagging pants, rappers getting nails/hair done, etc., that White America wants to feminize the black male youth.

I have no idea if that's actually true or not.  However, I do know this: more black male youths partake in traditionally feminine acts than I've seen in my 42 years on this planet that's for sure.

We'll discuss that and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!
