Tribute to Former Congressman James Traficant with Jim Condit Jr.

    in Politics Conservative

Talk with the Host Robert Jetter, Jr. our guest Jim Condit Jr., panelists Overpasses for America's Founder James Neighbors, Conservative activist Cindy Todd, author and Constitutional Scholar Kelly Mordecai, and our contributor former Washington Times columnist Dan Gray. Join Our Round Table Discussion.

Jim Traficant was a Centrist Democrat according to Gov.Track.gov https://www.govtrack.us/congress/members/james_traficant/400611. He was a Guest Speaker at Tea Party Protest '09. On abortion, Traficant voted with the National Right to Life Committee 95% of the time in the 105th Congress, and 100% in the 106th and 107th Congresses. After he voted for Republican Dennis Hastert for Speaker of the House in 2001, the Democrats stripped him of his seniority and refused to give him any committee assignments. While in Congress, Traficant was a supporter of immigration reduction, and a strong opponent of illegal immigration. In the controversy surrounding the defeat of Congressman Bob Dornan (R-CA) by Democrat Loretta Sanchez, Traficant was the only Democratic member of Congress who advocated a new election, due to possible voting by illegal immigrants. Traficant's major legislative accomplishment in the House was the adoption of some of his proposals to constrain enforcement activities by the IRS.

Watch the Vote 2012, under Condit's leadership, tried to get an observer at all 1800 local Iowa Caucuses in order to throw the results up on an independent website, to prevent the Iowa GOP from doing to Ron Paul (or anybody else) what they did to Pat Buchanan in the Iowa Caucus of 1996. A video put up on YouTube (Watch The Vote 2012 - Iowa Caucus) on December 24, 2011 had garnered 42,000+ views by Iowa caucus day, January 6, 2012.

Jim Condit Jr. is running for Congress on the Constitution Party vs. Speaker of the House John Boehner.

Westchester On the Level with Narog and Aris

    in News

The “featured” BlogTalkRadio program "Westchester On the Level with Narog and Aris” opens the Friday, June 27, 2014th broadcast day at 10:00 a.m. EDT with a discussion of film with International Film Critic and respected Jurist Sherif Awad.

At 11:00 a.m. we welcome our guest, CSEA President Lionel Turner, to discuss some of the before unknown issues that have belatedly become evident with respect to the merger of approximately 60 Yonkers Board of Education  (YBoE) personnel. The transfer of personnel is part of the consolidation effort by Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano and a byproduct of his making the once independent YBoE a Department of  Yonkers City Hall on July 1, 2014. The employees must decide by June 30, 2014, to agree to their job placement within Yonkers City Hall which some see as a betrayal by Mayor Mike Spano of his promise and word to them, their loss of benefits, seniority, pay scale, medical benefits, etc. We will learn if the conduct from Yonkers City Hall is a betrayal, as some suggest, and if / whether this conduct is legal or ethical.

Hezi Aris is your host today. Engage our guests conversation by calling (347) 205-9201 to share your perspective – you are only asked to please stay on topic. If you use Skype: use the contact “eHezi18″ during the “live” broadcast, or listen on demand.

Westchester On the Level with Narog and Aris

    in News

The “featured” BlogTalkRadio program “Westchester On the Level with Narog and Aris” opens the Thursday, June 26, 2014th broadcast day at 10:00 a.m. EDT with a 30 minute review of local news. The most important issue we will revisit today with co-hosts Richard Narog and Hezi Aris is that of the hostile takeover of the Yonkers Board of Education (YBoE) and the manner by which YBoE personnel are demanded to agree to a contractual agreement by the end of this month. If they do not sign, they will lose their position with the YBoE. If they accept the agreement, they accept having lost their seniority, and vacation time. Further, they accept they are being hired by Yonkers City Hall on a 6-months probationary basis, accept a $10,000 per annum reduction in pay, and will pay approximately $2,000 toward medical insurance coverage. At question is whether such conduct is legal and whether employees will accept the fait d'accompli imposed by Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano. the link to the Tuesday show in which this issue was formally brought to light may be click onto the WHYT Radio logo below.

At 10:30 a.m. we welcome our guest, New York State Assemblymember Shelley Mayor who will share the issues of importance confronting the constituents of Yonkers she represents.

From 11:00 a.m.  to 12 Noon, we welcome Joanna Mosca from Bedford, New York. Joanna Mosca shares her "country singer" music demeanor and the focused passion that drove her toward the world of Country Music.
