The Don S. McClure Show Live- LIFE DESIRES
Our Topic for tonight: Life Desires:
George Eliot, the well-known novelist quoted, “It seems to me we can never give up longing and wishing while we are still alive. There are certain things we feel to be beautiful and good, and we must hunger for them.” As they say, it is never too late to make wishes! So, never stop making wishes! As humans, we understand and appreciate things better than the other beings and whenever we see something beautiful and captivating, we desire to possess it. It is a natural feeling of want, which is what we call a ‘wish’. From children to adults, everyone has wishes. Kids are taught to ‘make a wish’.
It is a very positive feeling that they get when they make a wish. It’s like elation if your wish comes true.
Wishes may be small or enormous, one that lasts for a few minutes or one that we want with us forever; they may be realistic or they may be far-fetched fantasies! Whatever it is, wishes and aspirations are the ones that keeps humans going! For instance, you work because you wish to earn for a better living. Everyone has aspirations in life. They give the meaning and purpose to our life. Achieving what we wish for, and getting ultimate happiness therein, is what life is all about.

The Don S. McClure Show live - Topic: Once an Idea enters your life.
Once an idea enters your life which is always derived from your thoughts.
It will remain a part of your life forever.
No matter how many days, or weeks and months and even years pass.
The thoughts that slowly emerged to full size
like a child being born will start to want a life of it’s own.
How far or how less you make your ideas last and create spectacular
images will depend largely on you and your efforts.
And they may even add value to your life.
The determination of how long they live in your life will be all up to you.
But the fact will remain that once that one idea among the thousands you
have in your head come to life.
It will last forever.
What you do with them will be under your control.
You are an inherent dreamer.

The Mets' split with the ML best Cardinals will be broken down, roster options for the Mets going forward, and happenings down on the farm will all be discussed regarding the current incarnation of the New York Mets.

It's Easter Sunday. We are in the midst of Passover too. And in the sports world, it's the first day of baseball season! Though the Mets begin play for real on Monday, April, 6th, the Major League season begins tonight as the Cardinals take on the Cubs in Chicago.
The Rising Apple team will be conducting a special roundatable discussion of all things Mets. We'll chat about the 8-man bullpen, innings limits for Matt Harvey and Jacob deGrom, the team's 19-12-2 Spring Training record, the roster, and much more as we're on the eve of the Mets' 2015 season. We'll even let you know who we think is going to win the World Series.
Join Danny Abriano, Mike Lecolant, Dan Haefli, and maybe more writers from the Rising Apple staff to engage in some fun Mets dialogue at 9 pm, Sunday, April 5th. I (Rich Sparago) will be your host as we count the hours until Mets baseball.
So listen in, give us a call, we'd love to hear from you! Let's celebrate the return of Mets baseball with the 99th edition of the Rising Apple Report!

FULL DESCRIPTION AND NOTES HERE!
Things CLEARLY have not been as sparkly as the were on the 11-game winning streak, but the Mets still, as far as I'm concerned, unBELIEVABLY, are in 1st place by 3.5 games. Though that will change as games between the Nationals and Marlins, and the Braves and Phillies, go final tonight, May the 4th, but still, no matter the slide, thank GOD for those 11 games.
So, on this needed off day, Michael Lecolant and Sam Maxwell convene for the 101st episode of the Rising Apple Report. We have a lot to say and a lot to rant about, and probably along the lines of the stuff that you need and want to rant about (And guess what? You can call us at 646-929-0337.)
We have ideas, we have concerns, we have all of that stuff. And we have no Mets baseball getting in the way of voicing all that. We have an offnight, and so we'll get some talking done.
And we'll talk about the players to wear "1" in the history of the New York Mets, as well as the '01 squad.
So, join us at 9pm ET for the latest edition of the Rising Apple Report!
May the 4th Be With You.
The caleder still says February, the temperature in the northeast is still below freezing, and for many the winter snow has been relentless. However, nothing advertises a changing of the season quite like Spring Training.
Port St. Lucie is finally open for business. All position players were due by Tuesday, and today marked the first day of full squad workouts.
Over the winter, the Mets contracted a strong case of confidence. Tonight's 94th episode of the Rising Apple Report will swing the gates open to Camp Bravado, and debate the merits of their words.
If the Mets indeed seem emboldened to you, perhaps the return of Matt Harvey is one reason why. On March 6th, he will tentatively take the mound and face live competition for the first time since 2013.
Also up for discussion are the potential crowding of the bullpen and a lack of another lefty, Lucas Duda's injury, the never ending quest to rectify shortstop, the 1994 regular season, and much more.
Rising Apple staff writer Rich Sparago will host this evening's discussion, and will be joined by fellow staff writer Michael Lecolant. As always, you are most welcome to call the show and join the conversation.
The number is 646-929-0337. The show starts at 9:00pm (EST) sharp.
