Welcome to Beauty Chat Radio
As I visited beauty salons on my daily route, I came across a couple of hairstylists that was venting about the salons being slow on a Saturday. As we continued to chat I asked them if it was ok to record and share with my fans/hairstylists. They were happy to give me a quick interview to share with the rest of the BEAUTY WORLD.
Tonight my Co-Host is Charmin A. Jones a stylists from North Carolina.
Question of the evening: If you had to give one tip to a salon owner/booth renter regarding promotions ,what would be your number one tip?

As I visit hair salon's I discover a trend regarding "PRICING'. Hairstylists are under-charging for services. I would like to have an on air conversation and encourage Hairstyists to call in and share. As an industry we're trying to grown and learn so let's have this live feedbacks so that we could understand exactly what's going on. Is it the case where stylist's feel that they have to charge these low prices to get customer's into the salon? I have no idea .
Question on the table this evening:
When attending to a client, what do you factor in when you think about charging for hair services?
Thanks to Janet Pow for requestion this topic.

Do you have a system that your working with in your salon, how do your working your clients to get them in and out of the salon ?
This evening we'll discuss different ways of making sure the salon environment IS peacefully flowing so that everyone is happy. The stylists have a responsiblility to make sure clients are treated with respects . As a stylists myself I had to learn the CLIENTS are THE BOSSES and STYLISTS need to respect the CLIENTS time but Clients must also conduct themselves a certain way in the salon also. LETS TALK ABOUT IT!
