So I watched the documentary called Mitt. It’s the behind the scenes look at the campaign and the family of Mitt Romney during the 2012 presidential campaign. You can only see it on Netflix.
Here is my Informed Not Inflamed review:
Who should watch this? Political junkies. Those who want to get another perspective of Mitt Romney. And anyone looking to create their own documentary.
Who should not watch this? If you hate politics, you will probably check out early. Also, someone looking for a cinematic experience will click to another Netflix offering. Mitt is a higher-end home video. I am not knocking that aspect of it, but if you’re looking for a motion picture, this isn’t it. If you want to put together some of your home videos in a cool way, this is a good primer.
Overall, I think it was an interesting study of what a candidate and his family endure during a campaign. The Romneys are a nice family. They’re also very honest. One son admits to saying one thing to the media while he thinks the other way. Is it disingenuous? Maybe. But that is our political system and they were playing by the rules.
But you also feel their disappointment when it’s apparent Obama will win re-election. No matter how you voted or thought the election would turn out, you have to feel for the family who just couldn’t believe the country wouldn’t elect their dad. This family was fully invested. The moments of realization are the most poignant.
The family reaction was no different than other Republicans after the second debate where Benghazi became the big issue. They’re angry at Candy Crowley. But in reality, they’re angry at the situation where an incumbent has an advantage over an issue they have more insight into.
With more bad weather on it's way and the government's break coming to an end next week should provide a lot stories of human drama and political theater. Today we’ll take a look at the past week’s drama. Climate Change scientists stuck in the ice, Melissa Harris Perry’s apology to the Romneys, DiBlasio takes office, and early Obamacare issues at the hospital. These stories and Headlines You May Have Missed & Outrage of the Week!
Romney Family Joins Hollywood fad of Adopting Black Babies..Join us as we speak to an Adoptee Survior, Dockothy Davis! *Last week former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney announced that he had a new addition to his family.
Romney posted a picture on Twitter with the caption,“ Our 22nd grandchild was officially adopted today: Kieran James Romney.”
The picture was of an adorable African American baby who was adopted by one of his sons.
Now here’s where things get interesting. Apparently the name Kieran means “little dark one” in Gaelic. The name is pretty common in Ireland, which translates to “black” or “dark.”
Mitt Romney, AKA Mr. 1% , has a lot of grand kids but you think he would at least be able to keep count and keep up. He announced on Twitter that his 22nd grandchild, Kieran James Romney, was officially adopted. Um, one problem. Back in July, Mitt Romney, tweeted that he and his wife welcomed their 22nd grandchild. Which is it Mitt?
"People immediately started speculating about what type of life he’s going to have growing up with the Romneys, who are known for being severely out of touch when it comes to the poor and minority communities. We should say a serious prayer for our little Kieran.
Join us tonight on The Gist of Freedom as we talk with Dockothy Davis. Mr. Davis will discuss, growing up as a foster child and then living with a white family in an exclusive white town.

Tonight on our first episode of the 2013 seazon, we talk about a very popular fan topic: zombies. Chatting about the fun with Zombies & their groundbreaking comeback to modern cinema. Zombies are just everywhere, and it is unbelievable how popular they have become.

We unfortunately ran out of time, so we will be continuing the zombie episode, and in the future if we need to talk about it, it will just be a regular part of the show. So many people seem to love zombies, and what can I say? I even got my nickname, Luke Marlone-Zombie from the crowd.
<3 <3 <3 them so much.
Power's back, but that was the worst of my problems over the last three days. Others did not fare so well.
The first picture is my next-door neighbor's house. She lived there until this summer when they decided to put it on the market. Providence and Premonition, as she was never able to sleep whenever we had a storm. She was always worried about the trees falling on the house. Ironically, this tree was not one of her "insomnia trees." I went through this last year with Hurricane Irene. She put two trees through my roof.
There is no such thing as global warming? BULLSHIT!
And, of course, with Election Day looming - only SIX DAYS AWAY - I must cover the latest Romney BS - Jeep and China.
With so much at stake - especially now (FEMA) - the MOST IMPORTANT thing we can ALL do AFTER we make sure that our loved ones are safe is VOTE.
No matter what ANYONE tells you. No matter what official looking letters or emails you may have received. No matter what messages may have been passed to you via phone calls. No matter what language you speak - THE LAST POSSIBLE DAY THAT EVERYONE or ANYONE MAY CAST THEIR VOTE IS TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6 - SIX DAYS FROM NOW.
There's lots to cover.
I hope you will join me.
WE HAVE TO IMPROVE OUR JARGON. WHEN SOMEONE SAYS THEY ARE A LIBERAL. RED SPELL CHECK SAYS COMMUNIST. WHEN SOMEONE ACCUSES YOU OF MCCARTHISM ACCUSE THEM OF ROSENBERGISM.
NEVER FORGET THAT JOE MCCARTHY WAS A TAIL GUNNER IN WWII. THE ROSENBERGS WERE DRAFT DODGERS BUT COULDN'T DODGE THE ELECTRIC CHAIR.
WHICH WE COULD SURE USE TODAY. THE COMMIES TRIED TO TIE THE COLORADO JOKER TO ROMNEY.
THEN THEY SAID JOHN WILKES BOOTHE WAS TIED TO ROMNEY.
IF YOU WANT TO GET RID OF THE COMMIES VOTE FOR THE ROMNEYS.
Both Politics and sports are exciting for many of us, but the two are as different as night and day. Politics affects all our lives. Sports affect lives of many americans but now way close to all Americans, ever. Sports is a game. Politics is life, from birth to death, politics has some form of control. In sports we choose who we want to win, based anything. Who we love or who we hate to the color of the uniforms.
Politics is about lives. Whether you vote or not, politics is about your life. Politicians lie. Romney on the other hand is a liar. He calls his lies etchAsketch. We pick winners in politics using the quality of life they could help ursher in for 100% of Americans. It takes tax dollars to keep America flourishing. It takes a person who is willing to exhibit good stewardship concerning what's best for all Americans in every decision they make. Mitt Romney talks mostly about corporations and the wants of corporations. The talk should be about 100% of Americans and the needs of the 100%.
