This is an introduction of the Strong Heart Warrior Society. Identity is of the original Dog Solider Society of the Lakota Nation - the oldest of its kind. Many societies claim to be for their people, but few proved themselves and remain worthy of their people's trust. The Strong Heart Warrior Society will remain. We are past, present, and forever. This brief mission statement gives credence to our traditional concepts. This society is alcohol-free and drug-free. As a society with its own values, we are here. We are forever.

Scripture Text: Acts 5:17-32
Key Verses: Acts 5:17-21
Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, which is the sect of the Sadducees, and were filled with indignation.
And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison.
But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,
Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.
And when they heard that, they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught.
But the high priest came, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.
Can men handle a secure, confident, independent woman? Do men fear strong women? Are men afraid of powerful women? Is a self-sufficient woman less attractive to men than one who depends on a man?
We hear all the time from many "strong" women about how they intimidate men and how most men don't know how to deal with them. What does that even mean? We'll tell you! On this episode of the ::ANSWERS:: show, we dispel and debunk the myth of men not being able to handle a strong confident woman.

The Porch’s is a distinctive blend of live online radio/television discussions and interviews in the field of news, sports and entertainment, with a mix of playful banter and serious dialogue to stimulate the listener’s mind and encourage conversation. The goal is to educate and provide useful information to the listener in laymen’s terms; as everyday individuals (the multimedia personalities) discuss “water cooler talk” as a sports’ fan or casual news observer as opposed to the typical media anchor/celebrity. As news and information comes in rapidly, we look to provide the listener/viewer with an in-depth discussion as to how these updated bulletins affect the sports world, entertainment, and society at large.
As trans* and gender queer people we often become so focused on our social, mental and physical transitions that they grow to be larger than life. So much so that we forget that a transition is just another word for a shift. A shift in thinking, a shift in geography, a shift in expectations, a shift in marital status or family size. They all affect us as human beings and they are yet another layer to our complex lives as trans*, gender queer, and queer people. And when we forget, it makes it that much easier for people outside our community to see us as just the sum of our surgeries.
Tonight's guest will be Nicholas Durand. Nicholas is 27 years old, and was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in early 2013. A gay trans man living in Virginia, he is now the facilitator of DCATS and is an advocate for both LGBTQ+ and disability rights.

Strong Consultants is a non profit organization which provides finance/accounting consulting services for small business, religious organizations and non profit corporations in need of establishing or revamping their accounting/finance department. The daughter of a pastor, Strong saw the immediate need of these organizations that could not afford accounting/finance training and decided to give her God given talents and experiences in corporate America to bring back a level of financial integrity to the church and community. Strong Consultants motto is to “run your accounting department like a corporation, but run your church like a church” Strong believes these should be two separate entities and should be handled as such. Strong is launching her new full accounting/recordkeeping software for religious organizations with a projected target date of October 2014. Outside of work,Kym Strong is also a wife of producer extraordinaire Reggie Strong Jr. and together they parent 7 children. She admits the balancing act can be a challenge, with work and school yet she finds her greatest joy in spending time with family.
