In typical Obama fashion, he talked for over an hour and said NOTHING of substance. one would think he's still campaigning for office? Instead of actually doing the job he was elected to do- TWICE! We'll discuss his speech's elements and let the chips fall where they may?

    Reverse Speech

    in Paranormal

It has been called the discovery of the 7th sense. The research into this phenomenon has been described as being of "Nobel calibre".  It is called Reverse Speech, the phenomenon of hidden backward messages in speech. If human speech is recorded and played backwards, mixed amongst the gibberish at regular intervals can be heard very clear statements. These statements usually appear in short sentence form and are nearly always related to the forward speech. It appears constantly throughout language, so much so in fact, that it is believed to be a natural part of our speech processes. The applications of this discovery are exciting. On the surface level, it can act as a sort of Truth Detector as Reverse Speech will usually correct the inconsistencies of forward speech. If a lie is spoken forwards, the truth may be communicated in reverse. If pertinent facts are left out of forward speech these may also be spoken in reverse. It can reveal hidden motive and agenda and other conscious thought processes.

Reverse Home Equity Conversion Mortgages , Fontanilla, Madison Paige Capital

    in Finance

The Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) is FHAs reverse mortgage program which enables you to withdraw some of the equity in your home. The borrower chooses how they want to withdraw their funds, whether in a fixed monthly amount or a line of credit or a combination of both. Borrowers can also use a Home Equity Conversion Mortgage to purchase a primary residence if the borrower is able to use cash on hand to pay the difference between the HECM proceeds and the sales price plus closing costs for the property that is being purchased.

As the demographics of the nation continues to trend towards older homeowners, this could be an area of high growth for mortgage originators and investors.

Joining the broadcast to discuss Home Equity Conversion Mortgages is David Fontanilla, Founder and Managing Partner of Madison Paige Capital and Pioneer Analytics.  David has been involved in an array of residential mortgage capital markets activities, ranging from structuring, negotiating and executing portfolio Acquisitions, dispositions and securitizations to company acquisitions and public policy formulation.

#252 Ideas for Toddlers Who Don't Sit Still for Speech Therapy

    in Parents

Join pediatric speech-language pathologist Laura Mize, M.S., CCC-SLP as she provides ideas for a mom who complained that her child can't sit still to work with her on developing language and has difficulty maintaining attention during therapy sessions.

From Laura... Here's the truth... MANY late talking toddlers can't (not WON'T) sit still. We'll BRIEFLY talk about why that is and then move on to ideas that WORK for our friends who need to move, move, move. Here's a list of things I do with my busiest little friends:

    Do what they like!
Decrease demands overall so that a child doesn't feel "forced." Participation is your ONLY goal. This can dramatically help!!
Don't sit... MOVE! Target language during gross motor movement or outside playground activities such as sliding, jumping on a trampoline, swinging, etc...
Try social games where moving is a part of the game - Ring Around the Rosies, Row Row Your Boat, Ride a Little Horsie - verbal routines during those games to target receptive and expressive language.
Introduce play that involves moving - improvise a basketball game even without a hoop, bowling, launcher toys, and relay games
Work on Structured Teaching Tasks - TEACCH method
Over time begin to alternate activities move - sit - move - sit
Modify a child's space so that movement is less of an option. Beware....belting them into a high chair is usually NOT a good option!
Don't try strategies for older children like "if/then." Many times our little friend DON'T understand that promise.
    Reinforce sitting.
