A "Type" is just what you're used to, whether it's a food or a person, it's just another identity of yours. It isn't the real you. Let's break down and thrust out of your familiars and into a world of possibility, choice, and the unknown.
So many of us are caught in our own self-built prisons, unknowingly following our "tastes," going nowhere. We have to ask, what does it all mean? What payoff are we receiving from eating the same foods, and being attracted to a prototype of a person, instead of venturing out into the world truer to our souls? And why are we attached to those specifics?
Deep down, at whatever level you are individually, something doesn't feel right, and when something fresh and inspired comes along, it doesn't fit into your fixed model then. Is that really you or is your parrot driving the bus?
This and more on the next Ram Michael's The Real You.

The goal of our journey is not to deny any part of ourselves, but to cultivate the witness, our souls, as the observer, on looker, as a means of merging with the greatest part of ourselves, and identifying with that vastness. As we watch our bodies experience all of their moments from that place, we are free, observing ourselves in pain or struggle, but not embodying that pain and struggle. We become the largest part of ourselves, and the rest is going on, and we are able to view it, with compassion and free-flowingness. Join me in discussing our witness-self and call in for coaching.

You don't have to "please" anybody...or "thank you" them for that matter. You just have to be your darling, lovely self. You don't have to explain anything to anybody either, for that is just an outgrowth of trying to please people. Why do so many of us have a hard time just being great? Join me live or catch the archive for the conversation.

Most of us suffer with guilt, the real-feeling illusion that we have done something wrong. Then we suffer with not being wanted, the distrust of Universal order and pursuit of external validation. Lastly we suffer from devaluzation, the miscalculation of who we really are. How can we become aware of these misperceptions and get right with ourselves. Join the conversation and call in with your questions.

What does it mean to be in integrity with yourself? Are you living your own life or the life someone else wants you to live? Do you have a calling to advance but end up retreating? Let's discuss this and more on the show and make sure that you, will, to thine own self be true.

Chris Grosso will be interviewing spiritual icon Ram Dass, discussing his message, which began in the early 70's with his game changing book Be Here Now. They also chat about how to find and honor our own individual paths, suffering as grace and how in the end, it truly is all just grist for the mill.
Ram Dass: Ram Dass first went to India in 1967. He was still Dr. Richard Alpert, an already eminent Harvard psychologist and psychedelic pioneer with Dr.Timothy Leary. He continued his psychedelic research until that fateful Eastern trip in 1967, when he traveled to India. In India, he met his guru, Neem Karoli Baba, affectionately known as Maharaj-ji. Maharaj-ji gave Ram Dass his name, which means "servant of God." Everything changed then—his intense dharmic life started, and he became a pivotal influence on a culture that has reverberated with the words Be Here Now ever since.
