“Global White Supremacy: Baltimore to Palestine”
RESISTANCE and REBELLION Series
Dr. Ruby N. Sales, Co-Moderating
Tonight on OUR COMMON GROUND, we discuss white supremacy as a system of power which is a fundamental undergird and foundation of economic, political and cultural imperialism. Part of our discussion will focus on examining the parallels of the struggle to dismantle that system with the struggles of other victims of white supremacy across the globe. Joining us will be representatives of a visiting Palestinian activist group here in the US to make its case before the UN Commission on Human Rights.
OUR GUEST Tonight: Sahar Vardi , a Jerusalem based activist. She publicly refused her military service and was imprisoned in 2008.
We are grateful to have Dr. Ruby Sales, a featured commentator on OCG to join us

On this episode of Field Afrikan Radio we will discuss racism on college campuses. We cancelled last week's show but felt we need to have a dicussion on the amount of racism Black students have to deal with when attending predominantly European schools. If you've read last week's show description you should have a good idea of the things we will discuss.
We will also discuss the so-called terrorist attack on France and why Black people shouldn't give a damn. Why are Europeans the only people who get to define terrorism? Why do Black people allow double standards when dealing with our tragedies as opposed to other nations? Why do we sympathize with the people who hate us? We will discuss terrorism from a Black perspective.
Ronda Rousey and Charlie Sheen; what do they truly represent? We will discuss these things plus more. Join us.

On this episode of Field Afrikan Radio we will discuss the events surrounding the boycotts and protest that are happening on the campus of Missouri. Missouri's president and chancellor quit but is that a victory for the Black students who attend college there? We will discuss Mizzou specifically but we also discuss the culture of racism that exist on all college campuses in the USA especially when European Americans are the majority on those campuses. Mizzou isn't an isolated incident nor does it location have anything to do with the culture of racism White supremacy that exist on all college campuses. What are the solutions to combatting these European campus devils? Join us.
9 times out of 10, when I engage or attempt to engage with a White woman about race and racism, the conversation either doesn't happen or it goes south quickly. Anger, frustration, denial, blame, defensiveness, lashing out, crying, running away or the silent treatment is usually the response I get from White women. Why does this happen? Why is it so difficult for most White women to have a conversation about race and racism? Kara Dansky and I will be uncovering the answers to this HOT, burning question during a frank and honest conversation on this weeks show. Don't miss it! We're having a conversation that matters! Learn more about how to begin having Race Talks, get your copy of Antagonists, Advocates and Allies at http://www.shetalkswetalk.com

in The Bible
The church at large is still growing. We make mistakes. We sin. But we also repent and are changed by the grace of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. We as the church are broken people. As broken people the only way we can be fixed is to have the Holy Spirit reveal the areas in our lives that need to be healed and fixed. King David had this kind of attitude. David committed adultry (broken) but in Psalm 139:23-24; He says Search me, O God, and know my heart. Try me and know my thoughts, and see if there is any unrighteous way in me, and lead me to the way everlasting. David wanted to be righteous but he knew only God could expose his heart. White Christians rarely talk openly about racism, particularly their racism. Yet it exist. All predominately White churches should have a healthy discussion concerning racism. And if necessary, repent, for their racism. In the context of Christian love, the Civil Rights movement should have been sparked by White Christians. They should have called for equality for blacks and any oppressed people. The bible say's we are all one in Christ. Today's show will talk about why there is still racism in the Body of Christ and what we can do.
This is an exposition of the views of the host on the subject facilitated by a co-host. It has been pre-recorded. Do not call the switchboard.
