David Frood on Soul Talk Radio Author of: Steps to Becoming A Thinking Corp.

    in Spirituality

David Frood and The Thinking Corporation corporate innovation program was developed by David Frood. David worked for sixteen years as a consultant to medium and large businesses, initially with an international sales consulting firm, then freelance. Client organizations include Hewlett Packard, Qantas, Diageo, Reckitt Benckiser, Cerebos Foods, CommSec and Daikin Air-conditioning. He became a specialist in implementing new sales/marketing process, change management and people development from sales people to senior managers.

This experience formed the basis for The Thinking Corporation book after observing many highly skilled and knowledgeable people who were frustrated by the boundaries and structure of their employer organizations. Employees would rarely tell their employers about ideas for new products, services or markets or simply to improve existing processes. It became clear that there is a much better way to manage both people and organizations through designing a company that is capable of harnessing the talent from within the ranks.

Following the book being published in 2008, the contents were then molded into a corporate change program that provides the framework for organizations to thrive through engaging the talents of the entire workforce. It is important that all of us make a start to securing the future of our corporations and provide security and prosperity for employees.

A conversation with Graeme Cowan: Bounce back & thrive

    in Business

Managing physical and mental health in the workplace is vital for Trusted Authority Professional Services Firm. Sadly many Professional Services Firms don't do too well in this area.
In this episode our special guest is one of Australia’s foremost experts on thriving individuals and organizations.  Graeme Cowan believes that the most admired people and organizations are great not despite adversity, but because of it. The common factor is being determined, and having the right mindset and skills, to consistently Bounce Back.
Having spent most of his life as a senior executive for organizations like Johnson and Johnson, Pfizer, Morgan and Banks, and AT Kearney, Graeme Cowans life hit a seemingly insurmountable roadblock in 2000, when he was diagnosed with severe depression. Five years and numerous hard set backs and decisions later, Graeme emerged not only with the bestselling book BACK FROM THE BRINK to his name, but also with a new attitude towards the traditional ways that companies and individuals approach adversity.
Steve, Trevor and Andrew also combine Major Point, Story Time and The Big Chair to apply the trust and authority lens to Qantas.
