Today is Elder Abuse Awareness Day. Obama announced he was making that official. I can only imagine the media spins that are being constructed right now to cement in the public mind that it is only family and friends who abuse, neglect and exploit the elderly.
We know better. We know family and friends account for only 4-5 % of the abuse of the elderly. The remainder is at the hands of professionals who game the system in order to loot the estate. But mainstream media won't even mention that!
Tonights show will highlight many of the cases of professional predators operating within corrupt probate courts across the country that have stolen billions from the elderly while holding them prisoner in what usually turns out to be a sub-standard facility. Forced medication, anyone?
Please feel free to call in with your comments or questions.
Bill Jeffries and John Singer, hosts of Professional Development Straegies launch the radio series with an introduction to Career Transition, Development and Advancement.
Join us this evening as Barbara Stone joins the show with her questions:
1. What can really be done to address the abuse perpetrated by professional fiduciary's via probate courts?
2. Can we end the death grip of the BAR Association not only on our courts, but also end the BAR's writing of statutes and laws which clearly exempt them from any accountability while simultaneously profiting them immensely?
3. Can we force the dissolving of "administrative courts" which are neither Constitutional, nor adhering to the actual law?
4. How can we turn advocates into activists?
5. What will it take to form an actual united front against the elder cleansing and human trafficking for profit that appears to be sanctioned at all levels of government?
This should be a good one! We will take calls after the first hour!
Join us tonight as we discuss various laws that are surfacing in several states that address the targeting and exploitation of elderly individuals who have sizeable assets. This exploitation is NOT done by family members or friends. It is perpetrated by professionals who operate under the protection of the BAR Association and facilitated by probate court judges. In less than 5% of the cases of exloitation is the involvement of family members. 95% of the time on average, it is by professional strangers to the victim and family.
As billions are stolen annually by predatory guardians and immoral attorney's, our legislative representatives feign ignorance of the theft and exploitation. In a few cases, there appears to be some movement towards ending the exploitation.....at least by family members. The professional predators appear to be untouchable.
We will take call-ins after the first 1/2 hour. Calls must be limited to the discussion at hand.
