vs. 10. And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran.
vs. 11. And he lightened upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stonesof that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.
vs. 12. And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set upon the earth, and the top of it reached heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
vs. 13. And, behold the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;
vs. 14. And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
vs. 15. And behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.
vs. 16. And Jacob awakened out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.
vs. 17. And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place ! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven. vs. 18. BEAUTY IS SLEEP; SLEEP BEAUTY...
SLEEP cannot be compromised. It is essential to beauty and health.
Pick-Up the mirror...do you see a wrinkle or wrinkles that weren't there a week ago. What could have changed in your life, could it be you're not getting enough SLEEP.
There is no quick fix to getting enough SLEEP, it's mandatory. Considering botox between the eyebrows...can help fake it in the short term to look rested but it does not address the root of the problem.
There is no magic formula to getting enough SLEEP, it's relative and you have to design a plan that works for you.
Fall in love with...etc.
Create a ritual...etc.
Anxiety is the...etc.
SLEEP is delicious...etc.
Welcome to the 9Mind Sacred Sisterhood Cosmic Frequency Blogtalk radio show where we discuss nothing but that which concerns the indigenous Black female, woman and girl child from the sole perspective of Black women who in my opinion are the only undisputed authorities and experts on all matters of what it is to be BLACK and (not gifted) but despised and abused. We will also address those who BETRAY we. As Judas betrayed the one he supposedly loved and knew to be the Messiah we have come to know as .?ησο?ς (Iesous) a rendition of the Hebrew Yeshua (????). And yet despite this love he being weak in his flesh betrayed the Black Messiah anyway for 30 pieces of fukin silver. Now how can Black woman world wide (not) identify with a story such as this when it duplicates to the letter what we and our women Ancestors have faced everyday for many generations? So pull out your pillows and lite your incense. And for those who need a drink, get it. And lets cut into this skrong onion of passion, love, hate and denial that makes up the life of a what it is to be a indigenous Israelite woman that the world has worshipped and hated in order to build their NATIONS of her back and her genes.

Today on this special segment of FOXOLOGY TODAY, I will chat with Chicago-based custom hangbag designer Alexa Holzwarth of LexiWynn Designs about her unique creations and business opportunities. She's an entrepreneur with a vision who knows where she's going, and believe me, she's got it in the bag! I hope you'll tune in!
About today's Guest
LexiWynn founder Alexa Holzwarth, learned to sew and appreciate fabrics at a very early age, growing up around her parents' successful custom window treatment business in Virgina. With a keen eye for detail and a flair for creativity, Alexa started her business in 2005 by making custom window treatments, pillows, and slipcovers out of her home in Libertyville, Illinois. In April of 2006, she designed her first purse – the aptly named Lexi Hobo – quickly realizing that she could successfully create fun and functional bags using fabrics that she loved.
As her purses gained popularity, Alexa developed a business and a small team of talented workers that would allow her to stay home with her small children but also serve as an outlet for her creativity, knack for design, and empowering others to get involved in the creative process.
She says "We are living the classic American story, the LexiWynn brand is all about vision and hardwork and bootstrapping and learning as you go."

(As always, this show is intended for educational and entertainment purposes only, and does not promote any medicinal uses of herbs.)
As a younger woman I did a LOT of needlecraft type projects. I would just get a pattern, get some yarn or thread and go at it. The finished project wasn't the main thing. I used to just roll the finished product up and put it into a drawer. Years later my most excellent sister in law turned some of them into pillows.
Hours and hours of handiwork went into those projects and now they decorate my home. I don't have a lot of decorationsaround the house unless I made them myself or the kids made them. I enjoy the process of getting the parts of the project, spending the time working on the project and putting teh embroidered part of the project in a drawer. I don't need to finish it. What do you do with it all?
When my parents moved down to Florida, they asked my brothers and me to take what we wanted so they could move more easily. I have now inherited embroidery projects my mother's family had made in the early 1900s. Simple projects with a single color and basically a single stitch they used as a decoration for the simple kitchen. Those projects made it through the War, were moved from Hungary to Germany to the USA. Someone thought they were worthy of saving, so now I have them.
Join me as I reminice and talk about the projects I had started and finished before I became a dental hygiene know-it-all.

Many of the projects in the picture show are my projects. The pillows are mine, the table cloth cross stitch is mine, the dino and the iris pictures are my projects. The simple projects are my family hand me downs.

Married? Recharge Your Marriage: As I spoke in November, TH will be hosting: Recharge Your Marriage Weekend Intensive on February 1st & 2nd at The Mason Inn on the George Mason Campus. As a recap, the topics & tidbits I shared are:
Topic #1: Needs.
Tidbit #1 - It is your job to fill your needs. Our partner cannot be all things to us. They cannot be our friends, mother/father, counselor, mentor, teacher, spiritual guide, and partner. This is asking too much for any person – and it sets them up for failure.
Tidbit #2 - Request versus demand –
Demanding is another form of control. Our partner has the right to say “No”!
Tidbit #3 - Disappointment – Disappointment is one of the toughest emotions to work through. A healthy way to deal with disappointment might be: Telling our partner that we need a moment to then go and Sulk, have a pity party, kick rocks or punch pillows. Then move on. By allowing us our disappointment – we can them come back to center and find a healthy way to get our needs met…by ourselves or another person – It doesn’t have to be our partner who helps us at this time. (phone a friend, Skype with family member, make an appointment with a therapist, go to a support group, pray, meditate, work out, garden, etc.)
