There is so much evidence that the mind can heal the body, yet we are reluctant to allow this remarkable process take place. Think about it. If you are ill, you want to be well - immediately. If you have a cold, you want the fastest treatment that will stop the runny nose, sneezing, coughing and fever. If you have the flu, you might be wishing you'd had that flu shot you kept postponing.
An upset tummy might not send you to the doctor every time, but what if that upset tummy is an every day occurrence? What if there is pain where there shouldn't be pain; blood where there shouldn't be blood; things that don't add up and don't make sense. How long do you wait to call a doctor?
People are different. Some will ignore minor symptoms that continue to grow until they give up and go to the doctor, only to hear the doctor say, "If you had just come in six months ago."
A person who is empowered takes control of his or her life in all aspects - and that includes all areas of health: Physical, Mental, Emotional, Spiritual, even Financial.
Then, there are what seem to be "miracles" - people whose aches, pains and injuries seemingly heal with hardly any medical intervention. How do they do it? Today's show is going to talk about that.
Join Teresa Beeman as she gives you food for thought when she discusses Physical Healing Through Empowerment.
This show is brought to you by the Center for Empowered Women and can be heard live every Monday and Wednesday morning at 11:00 am Eastern time.
