Happily Divorced writer, producer, and creator Peter Marc Jacobson joins host Robin Milling to talk about the new season which picks up where Fran Drescher's Fran is caught between two lovers; noncommittal but exciting Elliot or dependable pizza parlor owner Frankie guest starring Ralph Macchio.
Peter tells Robin how the series about a husband played by John Michael Higgins who announces he's gay after 18 years of marriage is based on his real 19 year marriage to Drescher whom he met at 21 years old in Queens. The difference Peter says is he didn't fully come out of the closet until a year after they separated when he was offered a set-up with Sharon Stone and turned it down. That's when he knew! Fran and Peter remain friends who love one another through thick and thin which is evidently mirrored in the series.
Other upcoming guest stars include Joan Collins, Cyndi Lauper, Florence Henderson and Robert Wagner to name a few. Happily Divorced airs Wednesdays at 10:30 PM ET on TV Land.

Until Vito Rizzuto went to prison in 2006 for his role in a decades-old Brooklyn triple murder, he ruled the Port of Montreal, the northern gateway to the major American drug markets. A master diplomat, he won the respect of rival mafia clans, bikers and street gangs, and criminal business thrived on his turf. His family prospered and his empire grew--until one of North America's true Teflon dons finally lost his veneer. As he watched helplessly from his Colorado prison, the murders of his son and father made international headlines; the killings of his lieutenants and friends filled the pages of Canadian news; and the influence of the 'Ndrangheta, the Calabrian Mafia, spread across Montreal faster than the blood of Rizzuto's crime family. In 2012, Vito Rizzuto emerged from prison, a 66-year-old man who could carefully rebuild his criminal empire or seek bloody revenge and damn the consequences. From the events leading to his imprisonment to his shocking death in December 2013, Business or Blood is the final chapter of Vito's story. Jacobson’s own story starts in 1980 when he accidentally shot himself in the woods with a 12-gauge shotgun, and laid over nine hours bleeding to death before a friend found him and called for help. To know where you are going you must first know where you came from. If this adage is true, how far do we go back to gauge our full future potential? Do we count backwards from chattel slavery? Do we start with empires of Kush or the Moors of Spain? Or is there a key we are missing in our ancient future? Something so great that to go back to that would change how we view ourselves as "human beings" forever? This Thursday 2RAW4TV explores the endless possibilities of the mind, body, and soul. This Thursday we see what has been purposedly hidden from us- a reality so bright that by just imagining it you become it. THE GOD I USED TO BE.
World reknowned author, illustrator, and poet Marc Marcel comes back to 2RAW4TV to talk about his publications, the latest album he thought he would never make, and his cutting edge cartoon series GURUS.
