Tonight- The Emmy Award winning and internationally acclaimed television show 'Ask Dr. Nandi', recorded in the Metro Detroit area, in Oakland County, will be taping an episode devoted to medical marijuana later this month on July 18, featuring Planet Green Tree's own Michael Komorn and Rick Thompson.
Courtesy of the National Patients Rights Association, Director of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, has been in the Michigan visiting with individuals, groups and organizations in Detroit to discuss the purpose of his organization, and to examine the enforcement of marijuana laws in The city.
Calling in tonight will be Neill Franklin, thirty four year police veteran, who oversaw nine drug task-forces and is now executive director of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, a group of law enforcement officials opposed to the war on drugs.
Also- Kyle Green, the local producer for the internationally acclaimed 'Ask Doctor Nandi' television program, will join us to discuss the Emmy Award winning show which is nominated for six Emmy Awards this year, and the upcoming episode which will be devoted to medical marijuana.

Nandi Hetenyi is a psychotherapist, holistic life coach and yoga instructor with over 10 years of experience in helping people to heal, empower, enrich and transform their lives. She blends years of training in psychology, counseling and education with over 10 years of practice and study in Buddhism and Yoga to her healing work. Her diversity of experience, including working with heroin addicts, battered women, professional women, spiritual practitioners and seekers, couples, refugees, single parents, the bereaved, the dying, artists and economically disadvantaged has given her a unique perspective into both the human heart and psyche in our Western culture today.
As a child of immigrants, Nandi grew up in two different worlds. This gave her the opportunity to immerse herself in other cultures, including backpacking through India and volunteering time at a Buddhist orphanage. She was invited to Delhi, India to present a paper she had written on applying Buddhist concepts to the Western theory of self-esteem. She is passionate about healing, transforming and alleviating problems related to self-esteem that give rise to much suffering, difficulty and disease in the West.
She completed her Bachelor's degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara and continued on to complete an MA in Education with a concentration in multicultural counseling at San Diego State University. She is currently completing her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at the California Institute of Integral studies and maintains a private psychotherapy practice, as well as a holistic coaching practice in the Bay Area.
