What is happening today in the world the church needs deperately to be on the forefront of discussion. Next month the Supreme court will determine marriage. The riots in the urban communities seemingly are week to week. The issue of education in the inner city seems to be lost and the discussion of more african american abortipons than live births is not even mentioned.
Hailing from Prescott, Arkansas, Rachel Hale is no stranger to the stage. While interning in Los Angeles for Patriot Records, Rachel auditioned for Season 12 of American Idol. Rachel was a featured contestant and was a top 20 female finalist competing in the “live” shows. The judges named her the “happiest contestant” because she was always smiling. Billboard ranked her performance of “Nothing But the Water” as one of the Top 12 Performances of the entire season. Due to American Idol, many doors have opened, and Rachel is currently writing, recording, and working on an EP in Nashville, TN.
Yara Kaleemah was born in Newark, NJ in the early 90's. As a child she would spend hours writing stories. When her friends were outside, playing, she was in the house writing. Being that she was an only child she had a lot of time on her hands. Naturally, when people asked what she wanted to be when she grew up she would say "an author."
In 2013, Yara published her first novella, Too Much to Chew. It was the greatest accomplishment. Soon after came three more outstanding urban fiction novels. Then, she started S.W.A.G Productions. Wanting to establish something creative, the acronym stands for Strong Women Achieving Greatness. SWAG Productions is a platform for self-published authors. The company offers services such as editing, proofreading, and typing.
Now, Yara is working hard at school and becoming a bestselling author. She is excited to embark on this new journey with SWAG Productions and fE Mag. Even though sometimes it is difficult to juggle motherhood, being a wife, a student, an author, and a publisher, she manages. With hard work and dedication she will achieve all of her goals.
Most 25 year old singer/song writers would be putting in All they have for their final push for a major label deal. After all, they usually snatch the singer when they’re younger. Not this one. Elizabeth Langham is doing the music to simply Create, Inspire and bring Positive vibes into people’s ears.
‘Too many people get caught up in the money making aspect of the industry and completely disregard why they even started to do music in the first place. Money is appealing, but I’d rather perform for free and inspire someone than to get caught up in the Diva role.’ –Elizabeth Langham

Is there an age that you think that no adult should go to the clubs, bars, lounges to hang out? If so, what would that age be? What would the reasons be?
Most bars and clubs are designed to attract younger people but the evidence shows that there is a market that is thriving for the 40+ and up crowd to do their thing. Line dancing (Stepping) has definitely done a lot to get our older heads out of the house and onto the dance floor as well as the booming social clubs like bike clubs, car and truck clubs and the Masonic Temples are always throwing something.
Grown and Sexy is the term that is often used to describe the older crowd of party goers. Every weekend you can hear of a party or function that is for the Grown and Sexy but what does that really mean?
