Celebrate Autumn with family fun. Hands-on participation in good times together provides a sense of belonging and value for children. Fall is full of possibilities for being together and enjoying situations where parents and children can delight in doing things together. In the process, children know they belong and will collect more pieces to build their positive self-image. Kas has written three books with fall and Halloween ideas for families and children.

Debi Dutton and Elissa Sungar are the mother/daughter Mompreneur creators of If Not You Who.org and hosts of Productive Place. On their show today, they share some ideas on teaching preschoolers about being respectful - a necessary character trait for young and old. Respect is a trait that is on many lists that share the skills and traits for a person to be successful in personal relationships, or in a school or business environment.
Debi and Elissa are committed to making the difference in the lives of children by reaching and teaching them when it really matters - when they are young! Lets face it, teaching children to be respectful happens in a high-chair - not in high school! We know the term "mom superpower" is a bit cheesy and perhaps sounds unrealistic to many moms. But, it is definitely true that we each have our unique mom superpower(s). We each have a talent, skill, or intuition that makes us unique and great moms. However, being that we are usually our worst critic, it is difficult to praise ourselves for our strengths. Listen in as we share our mom superpowers and encourage you to proclaim yours.
Please take a minute to leave us a rating and review. It helps us grow and helps us know how to help more mothers out there. Not to mention, the good reviews are really motivating :)

Join Denise as she has a mom talk with Deesha Philyaw. After their marriage ended, Deesha and Michael D. Thomas became the poster-children for divorce amongst their circle of friends and colleagues. While they wished they could have been the poster children for successful marriage, but it didn’t work out that way…
Despite the problems that ended their marriage, Deesha and Michael managed to established a congenial co-parenting partnership that allows their two daughters to thrive. In 2008, they founded co-parenting.org to connect with other co-parents and to offer advice, support, and encouragement. In 2013, their book, Co-Parenting 101: Helping Your Kids Thrive in Two Households After Divorce, was published by New Harbinger Publications. Both their book and the site are resources for those who find themselves parenting after a divorce or break-up.
Speaking engagements, workshops, and their Blog Talk radio show “Co-parenting matters” are other ways Deesha and Michael support parents, educators, and others serving children and families.
