Today we will discuss whether America is ready for a President who is self-describes as a democratic socialist. We will talk about exactly what Democratic socialism mean. We will talk about what the grassroots must do to ensure that democratic socialism is not maligned. Most European countries have been democratic socialist countries for quite some time. They are our allies and they are strong democracies that care about their poor and middle-class.

In this episode we discuss what it means for Bernie Sanders to run as a candidate in the Demoractic Party, and what it means to build an independent socialist workers party. We'll debate the challenges of building a independent party and pushing the Democratic to the left.
This episode will also feature Ashely Smith of the International Socialsit Review. He has written a few articles on why the left should not support the Bernie run. You can read one of his articles here.

The right wing is waging a war against women, and the only way to fight back is with the objectives and agenda of democratic and revolutionary socialism. In this episode we discuss the Bernie Sanders platform for "Fighting for Women's Rights." We explain how democratic socialism and revolutionary socialism can make a difference for women and thus families and societies as a whole. This episode is a part of a series of shows in which we discuss the Bernie Sanders political platform from a socialist left perspective.

“The campaign will begin on April 2nd with a march from the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia to Washington, D.C. where thousands will gather to reclaim the US Capitol in a powerful, peaceful, and massive sit-in that no one can ignore. Over 1,500 people have already pledged to risk arrest between April 11th-16th in what will be one of the largest civil disobedience actions in a generation.
