In his early 20s, David Meltzer was at the top of his game in the business world and lecturing around the globe. But something was missing, and the multimillionaire went on a rapid downward spiral that ended in bankruptcy. It was only then that David realized, in order to revive and thrive, he needed to blend spirituality with business. He started to meld his newfound life and business outlook as CEO to sports super agent Leigh Steinberg (played by Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire), and the result of his transformation is the remarkably successful venture – Sports 1 Marketing – that he began with Hall of Fame Quarterback Warren Moon.
In Connected to Goodness: Manifest Everything You Desire in Business and Life, author David Meltzer reveals his seven principles for success. This is a philosophy that the author has gained through many years of experience as a high ranking businessman. It will surely bring readers the same peace and balance he enjoys in both business and in life and that allows him to live by his mantra, “make a lot of money, help a lot of people, and have a lot of fun”.
If you are looking for a sense of empowerment to manifest your own success and the Doors of Opportunity seem locked, Connected to Goodness holds the key.
Today's guest is David Meltzer. He started to develop his newfound life and business outlook as CEO to sports super agent Leigh Steinberg, where he, along with Leigh, and Warren Moon, negotiated over $2 Billion in sports and entertainment contracts. In addition to athlete representation, LSSE served as creative and technical consultants on movie and television projects such as: Jerry Maguire, Any Given Sunday, For The Love Of The Game, HBO’s Arli$$.The common perception of successful sports agents is an aggressive-to-be-effective persona that is as powerful at negotiating as their athletes are at sports.
Connecting to goodness seems an unlikely goal in either sports agenting or sports marketing, but it is the best un-kept secret of one of the best sports agents in the business. David is now the CEO at Sports 1 Marketing, a Warren Moon Enterprise, and was former CEO to sports super agent Leigh Steinberg. In the making, losing, and remaking of millions in sports agenting and marketing, David Meltzer has indeed become all about connecting to goodness as a tool for actual and worthwhile success in business and in life. Before he found the connection he made and lost millions. Now enormously successful, he never forgets the value of that connection – and he is here today to discuss it with us.

Mel Fabregas at the age of 20, while working for a Fortune 500 company (D&B), Mel became the youngest financial analyst in the organization, where he served from 1987 to 1999. Prior to his long-term corporate career Mel worked in television as a child actor, retail, banking, and even with McDonnell Douglas. During one of his assignments, Mel lived in Mexico City (92/93) during the implementation of NAFTA. In 1999 Mel left corporate America and became an entrepreneur in the hospitality, wholesale, and real estate industries; and most recently, -- by accident -- he is now involved in media broadcasting. He has a radio show called Veritas Show. Since December 2008 Mel has interviewed the who's who of UFOlogy, conspiracies, paranormal, alternative news/history/archeology/health, and more. Mel has appeared on History Channel's Brad Meltzer's Decoded, several domestic and international radio shows, and has served as master of ceremonies and moderator at a number of related events. VERITAS' main purpose is to probe the depths of the hidden and obscured issues that affect the very core of humanity today and to find the answers to the primordial questions.
