    Interview with Christine Marquette - Marquette Nutrition

    Christine E. Marquette, RD, LD, CLT, has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics with a major in Nutrition from the University of Texas.

    Christine is also a certified Health Fitness Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine. In addition, she has an advanced
    certification in Food Sensitivities as a Certified LEAP Therapist; more than 40 hours of additional training in the management of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome; and trained in using intrinsic coaching(R) methodology.

    Christine, an avid runner, has completed more than nine marathons and dozens of 5Ks, 10Ks, half marathons, and other distance races. She has been an assistant coach with Austin Fit marathon training program for over five years.

    A sprint distance triathlete and vegetarian, Christine serves patients through her practice, Marquette Nutrition & Fitness, LLC.

    Marquette Falbo graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler with her BS in Health Studies in 2008. She is a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor and nutrition coach and has been training and coaching since 2003. She currently teaches group fitness classes and trains clients at Equinox in Dallas, Tx.

    Steven "Catfish" McDaris (born 1953) is an American poet and author who is often associated with Allen Ginsberg. He is also notable for having collaborated with Charles Bukowski. “Dave Reve, the editor of Zen Tattoo, suggested the nom de plume "Catfish" after McDaris admitted that he wanted to quit his job at the post office to start a catfish farm. He recently retired from the post office after 34 years of service

    Catfish McDaris won the Thelonius Monk Award in 2015. He was in the Louisiana Review, George Mason Univ.Press, and New Coin from Rhodes Univ. in South Africa. He’s recently been translated into French, Polish, Swedish, Arabic, Bengali, Tagalog, Chinese, Yoruba, and Esperanto. His 25 years of published material is in the Special Archives Collection at Marquette Univ. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He’s listed in Wikipedia. What is it, what does it feel like, and do you really want to wait for noticeable symptoms of loose teeth and difficulty swallowing. One person an hour dies of oral cancer. If you’re not getting an oral cancer screening ask for one, if you’re not telling your patients they’re getting one, start talking!

    Corinne Jameson-Kuehl, RDH, BS, OMT is from Hartland, Wisconsin and has been involved in the dental field for over 20 years.  Corinne graduated from Marquette University, and the Coulson Institute of Oral Myology.  She is an experienced private practice clinician, practice development consultant and previous dental staffing company founder and owner.
