There is no end to Eric Ruben's talents...no, go on, try to convince me after reading what he does in Eric's own words:
A graduate of New York’s Cardozo School of Law and a veteran entertainment professional, I have over twenty-five years experience as an attorney, literary agent, talent manager, and professional performer. My unique perspective is valuable to performers, writers, artists, and others. Working in partnership with a diverse clientele, we determine how best to move their careers forward and achieve their personal, professional and artistic goals.
Eric is beloved by writers for giving liberally of his time in interviews, on Twitter (@RubenAgency) where he does #askagent and #tenqueries, and he also regularly peeks in on various writers contests, as well. AND he has a working sense of humor! I am so honored to have the opportunity to chat with him about all the various facets he spit shines every day in all his roles...and I hope you will be, too!

It's fair to say I'm in awe of Brenda Drake, because she does so much more than her modest description below. She hosts numerous contests in hopes of encouraging aspiring authors to get literary agents, constantly promotes other authors, and is one of the most genuine people I know. It is going to be a true privilege to interview someone who believes in helping others to the extent Brenda does. I absolutely recommend following her on Twitter @brendadrake, and you should absolutely, positively follow her blog for the invaluable assistance she gives to aspiring and published authors. http://brenleedrake.blogspot.com/
Brenda Drake, the youngest of three children, grew up an Air-force brat and the continual new kid at school until her family settled in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Brenda’s fondest memory growing up is that of her eccentric, Irish grandmother’s animated tall tales, which gave her a strong love for storytelling. So it was only fitting that she would choose to write young adult and middle grade novels with a bend toward the fantastical. When Brenda’s not writing or doing the social media thing, she’s haunting bookstores and coffee shops or reading someplace quiet and not at all exotic (much to her disappoint).

What a wonderful opportunity to interview one of the nicest literary agents I know!
Jordy Albert is a Literary Agent and co-founder of The Booker Albert Literary Agency. She holds a B.A. in English from Pennsylvania State University, and a M.A. from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. She has worked with Marisa Corvisiero during her time at the L. Perkins Agency and the Corvisiero Literary Agency. Jordy also works as a freelance editor/PR Director. She enjoys studying languages (French/Japanese), spends time teaching herself how to knit, is a HUGE fan of Doctor Who, and loves dogs.  She is looking for stories that capture her attention and keep her turning the page. She is looking for a strong voice, and stories that have the ability to surprise her. She loves intelligent characters with a great sense of humor. She would love to see fresh, well-developed plots featuring travel, competitions/tournaments, or time travel.

I have had the pleasure of reading Because the Night...one of the perks of hosting the Lowdown. I can say it is an utterly engrossing read. So much so that I'll be snatching up a copy when it's published just to experience it all over again. Here's more about the lovely Kristen in her own words!Sneaking into nightclubs to see bands since I was sixteen, I’ve been researching Because the Night my whole life.  Now I’ve been to more concerts that I could possibly count.  I get an up close and personal look at the behind the scenes workings of the entertainment industry doing makeup and hair for TV, movies, and commercials.  I’m a graduate of the School of Hard Knocks and Blaine Beauty School. The “beauty and the brains” (according to Julie) behind the Undead Duo, I enjoy watching football, decorating my house, and making wickedly decadent desserts I force feed to all my guests.  I do not have a Boston accent. Because The Night is a New Adult Paranormal Romance set in Las Vegas.  It is the first in the Night Songs series.   I have also completed a prequel to the series, a YA novella tentatively titled Seasons In The Sun.  I am represented by Pam van Hylckama Vlieg of Foreward Literary Agency.
If you’re jonesing for a Kristen fix, and I know you are, you can check out  the Giant Tales anthology. Four of my short stories are featured. But wait! There’s more! It’s the first of series releasing this year.

Having read HYBRID and COMPLICATIONS in Vanessa's Evolution Trilogy, you can be I'll be (gently) grilling her on the final book and her other upcoming literary pursuits!
Vanessa Wester is bilingual in English and Spanish, since she was born and raised in Gibraltar. She first moved to England to further her education and obtained a degree in Accounting and Law from the University of Southampton, in England, United Kingdom. Initially, she embarked on a career in Chartered Accountancy. After a couple of years it became obvious she was not cut out to work in an office. A change in vocation led her to become a Secondary School Teacher of Mathematics, which she loved. For many years, she has been a stay at home mum and gives up a lot of her time towards voluntary organisations. She still teaches maths as a private tutor and has many hobbies which include swimming, walking, reading, singing and acting. She is also a qualified A.S.A. Swimming Teacher and volunteers on weekends at her local swimming club. Writing is her passion. The day she decided to start writing was the day she found an outlet for her imagination. It is the best way she can think of to express herself and escape from everyday life. She now lives on the Isle of Wight. Another island. It’s a small world.

Julie Hutchings caught Lydia's eye on Twitter, where her voice and humor shone through. Naturally she set up an interview asap to talk with this extraordinarily talented writer!

I did actually go to  college for my pay-free writing career.  Benefits include dress code of  sweatpants and all the time I need with my two toddler boys, hilarious husband and small Mexican dog.  I am currently seeking representation for my first Paranormal Thriller, Running Home, while working on  the sequel in the trilogy, Running Away, and am inches away from finishing a separate Urban Fantasy, The Animal. I still revel in all things Buffy, a sick need for exotic reptiles, karate, zombies of all shapes and sizes, and drinking more coffee than Juan Valdez and his donkey combined, if that donkey is allowed to drink coffee.  And wow, pizza.  Pizza and me, me and pizza.  Pizza and coffee, and a good vampire book.  There you go.

I'm so looking forward to talking with author Robbie Cox about his book Reaping the Harvest!
Robbie Cox started writing in high school as a way of escaping the lessons his teachers tried to cram into his head.  With the aid of two very determined Literature teachers, he was given the push he needed as well as the guidance to win the Florida Pride Award for both short stories and poetry by his senior year and also helped create the school’s literary magazine, Spindrift.  However, it was five years later before he made his first sale, an essay on prayer, to Decision Magazine.
With that milestone, Robbie turned his attention to freelance writing in between his daily jobs and the raising of three boys.  While not always able to focus on it as he would have liked, he was able to stay active with his writing and has been published in parenting, religious, retirement, and ghost story magazines.  He had also written a Christmas play for local churches and was at one time a contributor to the Good Shephard Ministries Newsletter.  Still, he kept working on his novel and short stories.
In September of 2010, he decided to stop dabbling with his writing and began to take it seriously.   With the help of three ladies, whom he affectionately refers to as the girls or his editors-in-residence, he launched his blog, The Mess that Is Me.
Living along the Space Coast beaches of Florida with the girls, his 21 year old son, Zac, an 8-year old that demands quite a bit of attention, and two cats, his home is a revolving door of family, friends, and adventures to keep the imagination - and gossip mill- churning.  In 2012, he published his free short story, Circle of Justice, on Smashwords, which has received great reviews, and in February of this year, Robbie published his first novella, Reaping the Harvest, also on Smashwords.
