Luke is a young artist / songwriter from the UK who’s starting to make a buzz with his songs. He cites “Iris” by The Goo Goo Dolls as the song that, the moment he heard it playing, made him realize he wanted to be a songwriter.Shortly after, at the age of 17, Luke picked up an acoustic guitar for the first time and started writing songs not only about love but also about growing up. Other artists that have influenced Luke include the likes of Jimmy Eat World, Jason Mraz, Fountains of Wayne, Goo Goo Dolls and the music of his father who played in bands way back when! In a short time he’s become a natural songwriter and emerging artist in the making. Music Week selected Luke as one of their ten ‘favorite’ new talents of 2011 and commented saying “Luke’s songs are beautiful.” Promo Only agrees saying it’s “exciting hearing such a fresh new and exciting talent like Luke, it’s perfect for US radio”.Luke’s debut radio single, “We’re Alive” impacted several stations on the East Coast in the summer of 2012, having top 30 airplay in Boston and San Francisco with video rotation at Hard Rock Cafes (“Great video”) around the world.January 2013 saw the release of Luke’s EP, ‘One Day’ which met with a great critical reaction. Luke has recorded an album of his songs with Bleu (Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers…) and is just waiting patiently for the right time to release them to everyone. In September 2013 he signed a management contract with WEG (Wright Entertainment Group) and Orrigami. Since then he’s been even busier with writing trips to Sweden, Canada and USA during 2014 where he’s worked with some amazing collaborators. He also did a short UK school tour and a small tour in the USA in July / August 2014.With a great catalogue of songs ready to go Luke will be putting out new music and videos soon!
Luke Potter is a young singer-songwriter from the UK who’s starting to make a buzz with his songs and plans to introduce his music to American fans with the January 2013 release of his EP produced by Bleu (Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers…), “One Day”. In a short time he’s become a natural songwriter and emerging artist in the making. Maybe it’s his honest lyrics or his ‘boy next door’ charm, but one thing’s for sure, the U.S. has something to look forward to for with his forthcoming releases. He stops by on Sunday, February 17, at 3pm EST.

Today, in our psyghts, we have Candice Potter, an Angel Card Reader who is a multitalented, multitasking lady. Topic talk is on??? (Varying subjects!) Tune in to see what Lou and Candie are discussing today!
Lou has the abilities of Clairaudience, Claircognizance, Clairempathy, Clairgustance, Clairsentience, Clairtangency, Clairvoyance, Healer, and Spirit Sensitive. Clairaudience, Clairempathy, Clairsentience, and Clairvoyance came first, Healing came second, Claircognizance came third (even though he was using it, but he didn't know what it was at the time; he just knew that he 'knew' things without really knowing them); Clairtangency came within the same time-frame as his Claircognizance, and, lastly, his Clairgustance and Spirit Sensitive came as a pair.
Lou has known about his abilities starting at the age of 13 (which is the "average" age that people learn about their abilities). He has been developing them ever since, learning more and more every step of the way.
Learn more about Lou on his forum: Psychic Psyghtings!

After the usual bits and news from around the industry, including an audio clip in which Randy Bachman definitively proves what the infamous opening chord is to The Beatles' “A Hard Day’s Night,” we kick off the interviews with The Road Heavy’s Ryan Blake, who joins Andrew on the phone from Nashville where the band is currently recording.
Also, we have the last of our Canadian Music Week interviews, this one with Luke Austin of the Toronto-based Luke Austin Band. Luke discusses recording in Nashville with producer Vance Powell, visiting Third Man Records, touring on a train made famous by the Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin in the film Festival Express, and more.
Lastly, we have Mercedes Arn-Horn of Courage My Love. The band has been up to a lot since being on the cover of Canadian Musician magazine a couple years ago. They’ve just re-issue their EP “Becoming” and are hard at work writing and recording their next album.
Our Canadian Spotlight Song of the Week is “Joey Ramone” by Montreal’s The Magic Man.
On May 8th the PMN crew will be up close and personal for the historic RFA vs. Legacy event that goes down in Tunica, MS. A truly stacked card for AXS TV will feature the RFA bantamweight title on the line when Nashville's Luke Sanders makes his first title defense against hard charging Terrion Ware.
Ware will join the program first. Flash has won 8 of 9 fights including an impressive decision over Joe Murphy at RFA 23 earlier this year. He has a beautiful record of 13-3 and is primed for a jump to the UFC with a win but has a huge challenge in front of him.
Luke Sanders has been flawless in his career thus far. It took him just over a minute to capture the RFA title back in November. He has shown much potential and is right there at the cusp of being inside the UFC cage. Ware will be his toughest challenge to date. Luke returns to the program to talk about the fight.
Join the conversation as we talk about the Jon Jones situation, gaming, WWE and more following interviews with our great guests.
