I HAVE BEEN BEATING THE DRUM ON THIS ISSUE FOREVER. WHY IS IT THE OBSTETRICIANS DO VIRTUALLY NOTHING TO ADVISE THEIR PREGNANT MOM'S IN THE IMPORTANCE OF DIET DURING THE PREGNANCY? AND THE MORE LITERATURE THAT COMES OUT SAYS THIS IS SO IMPORTANT THAT WE CAN AFFECT THE GENE STRUCTURE OF THE CHILD!! IS IT IMPORTANT? YOU BET. TUNE IN.
During the month of November we are learning all about the building blocks to good health from Certified Integrative Nutrition Coach, Penny Muckleroy.
This week we will be talking about the importance of the type of fuel we use to power our bodies as well as hydration.
On today’s show we will focus on why we should eat a low glycemic diet.
**LIVE** TUESDAY NIGHT ON LOW DOWN AND DIRTY 4/26/2016
Plenty of racing action to report on from this past weekend. Everything is getting kicked into high gear and Low Down and Dirty will bring it all your way starting at 8pm from Corporate Headquarters.
This coming weekend Sunday May 1st we turn things up even higher with the first event out of the Fred Rahmer Promotions stables for this year. And like usual there is a new twist. Tune and hear all about it from none other “The Godfather” himself, Fred Rahmer.
Every race season has its feel good stories. Low Down and Dirty feels good about this one. Brett Arndt veteran of ARDC midget competition picked up his 3rd career victory this past Friday night at Linda’s Speedway. Brett and his father Scott have been long time supporters of ARDC and it is great to see them in victory lane. Both Brett and Scott will be on the line with us to get us up to date on their win and future plans.
**LIVE** TONIGHT ON LOW DOWN AND DIRTY 4/12/2016
We were surprised to see any tracks open for business this past weekend. Cold, rain, snow seem to be in control. One track that did get there show in was the popular Linda’s Speedway in Jonestown, PA. They managed to get a four division show in with some great action.
The man that is everything at Linda’s Speedway Mr. Michael Batz will be with us to kick off the show this week. Michael will catch us up on all the great stuff going on at Linda’s this year along with filling us in on how they got that show in this past Friday.
We are happy to also have on the show two drivers new to Low Down and Dirty but not new to their respective racing divisions. First up the winner of RTS Chassis 270 Micro Sprints Mr. Dan Lane. Next it will be the headline division winner of the Hoosier Tire Wingless 600 Micro Sprints “TK” Mr. Tommy Kunsman. Both bringing home big wins Friday night and we can’t wait to have them on the show.
It is time to get another race track open here in the northeast. Grandview Speedway will open up this coming Saturday and we will be highlighting them on this weeks show. Track announcer Jeff Ahlum will be with us to give us the Low Down on this upcoming season at Grandview Speedway.
Also joining us will be modified pilot Dave Hunt who brought home two victories last year at Bridgeport. Dave ended up 4th in points at the end of the 2015 season and this fan favorite will be giving us what he expects for the 2016 season.
It is time to get another race track open here in the northeast. Bridgeport Speedway will open up this coming Saturday and we will be highlighting them on this weeks show. Track manager Danny Serrano will be with us to give us the Low Down on all that is happening at Bridgeport Speedway this year.
The Bridgeport Speedway opens the gates with a three-division program this Saturday, March 26 at 4pm. The Big Blocks will compete in Bridgeport’s 4th annual Doug Hoffman Memorial – 60 Over Special Hand #1 of the '811 Dig Safe' Poker Series. This will be a 44-lap $4,000 to win event. The Crate/Sportsman 20-lap race will see the victor take home a cool $1,000, while the Pennco Tech Outlaw Stocks battle it out for $500 in their 15-lap affair. An open practice will take place the night before from 7 to 10pm. Teams can leave their haulers overnight if they prefer, while the pit gates open 11am on Saturday.
Next up we will have modified pilot Dave Hunt who brought home two victories last year at Bridgeport. Dave ended up 4th in points at the end of the 2015 season and this fan favorite will be giving us what he expects for the 2016 season as he gets ready to strap into his Mighty Modified this Saturday.
After a perfect spring weekend we will be having what we think is a perfect combination on the show this week. Sprint Cars and Modifieds.
Our Sprint Car driver, Tyler Ross scored his first career win in the 410 sprint car feature at Lincoln Speedway Saturday night. And his reaction in victory lane was priceless, “This is unbelievable. I need someone to pinch me right now.” We hear he has calmed down a bit and he will be with us to relive the excitement.
Our Modified pilot has had a great start to his season. Winning twice this early in the season has him off to a fast start and with all indications he doesn’t plan on looking back. Dominic Buffalino will be with us to give us the details on the quick start he is enjoying.
To get it kicked off we will have the winner from the Sportsman division this past Saturday at Grandview Speedway. Craig Whitmoyer will be with us to tell his story about how he came from nowhere to pull off a thrilling win as we opened the 54th season of racing at the famed Bechtelsville oval.
Next up we highlight the opening of the URC Sprint car season. The 69th Season of URC is set to kick off on Sunday April 10th at Bridgeport Speedway. Robbie Stillwaggon Vice President of URC will be with us to push off the 2016 season. "It's your club, it's racing the way you want it". That's not just a tag line in a logo. That's a concept that the URC organization believes in and that's why the United Racing Club will be around for another 50 years.
