Lessons from the Source: A Spiritual Guide, Jack Armstrong

    in Spirituality

How can you discern truth from illusion? How can you raise the veil between perceptions of your ego and spiritual wisdom? What does Source/Spirit have to say about our human condition? Wouldn't it be great if life came with an instruction manual? The good news is that there is one and there are tools to help you attain this type of clarity. This week on Intuitive Transformation Radio, Matthew Engel will be chatting with Spiritual Teacher and Author, Jack Armstrong.

Since 1978, Jack Armstrong has been receiving and transcribing spiritual wisdom through a form of channeling known as Inner Dictation – the same phenomenon through which A Course in Miracles was received. After publishing his first book, Lessons from the Source: A Spiritual Guide to Navigating Life’s Journey, in 2008, Jack decided to devote his life to sharing these inspiring messages with others for whom they can be helpful. His own life’s journey has included stops as a nonprofit executive, Peace Corps volunteer, congressional candidate, small business owner, actor, voiceover artist and hospice volunteer. He lives in the Pacific Northwest and strives to practice the lessons he has received. For more info, please visit: www.lessonsfromthesource.com

Matthew Engel is an intuitive counselor, hypnotherapist, past life regression therapist, spiritual teacher, writer and Host of Intuitive Transformation Radio. Franny Armstrong, the Paranovel Girl

    in Writing

Franny Armstrong is a mother of three and a grandmother of four. Her husband supports her imagination and has the patience of a saint. She’s been writing since she was a child, creating plays to act out in front of the neighborhood children. She charged them five cents admission to join her in the family garage for the play.

Since 2002, after a serious breakdown, Franny had to express herself on the computer since she couldn’t speak, everything coming out gibberish at that time. She’s slowly healed to the point that she can function fairly well. Writing was the best medicine for her and still is.

Franny, an author of paranormal romance stories, also loves to write about rainforests and Caribbean islands rather than about cities. Her characters are well rounded and share her wacky sense of humor.

NYPD Detective Louis Scarcella And His Framing Of Innocent Black Men!

    in Current Events

The fact that retired former NYPD Detective Louis Scarcella’s dirty deeds while carrying a badge and a gun cost New York City millions of dollars I see as a definite example of poetic justice.

It may have taken far too long to come to light but at least the truth had finally shined through the lies.

Anyone who has lived in New York City for any substantial amount of time knows that the Police there operate under an entirely different set of rules than those found on Mainstream U.S.A.

To put it bluntly, they are a gang and operate off the books with their own set of unpublished and unspoken rules that are beyond the scope of what we deem to be undisputed justice.

So even though Louis Scarcella has been justifiably exposed as a dirty police officer and detective who has ruined the lives of countless people because of the innocent Black men that he railroaded into long prison sentences, the time that these families lost could never be equated with a monetary figure.

Then when you think of the judges, lawyers and district attorney’s that have worked along with Louis Scarcella in order to frame innocent Black men, only then will you understand the magnitude of what has transpired under the name of the law.

Yet when one cries out about the injustices executed in the Black communities just like those under attack in places like New York City and abroad, you are deemed to be delusional at best and disconnected from reality.

AMERICAN MENTORS: Evelyn Walker Armstrong Scholars

    in Relationships

On behalf of the YouthUSA Corporate Village of beneficiaries, stakeholders and officers, we are, in this season, collectively mourning the loss of a pillar in our community and this nation.  Ms. Evelyn Walker Armstrong served as a founding director for the national 501c3 public charity, Youth Achievers USA Institute (EIN 20-4945833).  She contributed faithfully through executive consultation and philanthropic investment until her death on January 10, 2015.

In September 2006, Evelyn co-founded The J.D. and Laurena Walker Fund, as the development program of Youth Achievers USA Institute.  She has since served as chair of that program task force. In this capacity, she constantly challenged her fellow officers to accomplish great works with modest means.

Up to the final hours of her “dash,” that symbolic measure of her temporal economy on earth from April 18, 1927 to January 10, 2015, Evelyn was at work, tasking care givers from Visiting Nurses Association with feeding her one last meal of grits, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and black coffee; and spiritually, through reading scriptures from Romans 8 and Proverbs.  Sadly, she expressed her perceived failure in life was the inability to motivate her beloved Walker family members to work “on the positive side of the ledger” to improve their own lifestyles with goals and promote The J.D. and Laurena Walker Fund.

Youth Achievers USA Institute is ready, willing and able to assist trustees and attorneys in developing program supports in the area of positive youth development.  We pray that our combined efforts to engage Evelyn’s friends, colleagues and beneficiaries will enhance your capacity for transforming Evelyn’s vision of young people as community assets on the positive side of the ledger.
