In order to prove who's "boss" the infamous billionaire, Roy Villalobos, stages Max's own kidnapping using their personal Chief of Security. The plan backfires with a near escape, and an explosion that kills Max's girlfriend, turning the tables on Max's original plans.

With the cloud of murder hanging over his head, Roy Villalobos offers to sort things out for Max, suggesting his son disappear until the air clears. But when Max arrives aboard the Galapagos Treasure on his way to the Cook Islands, he discovers that not only has he become Suspect #1, but his murdered beloved just happened to be an undercover MI-5 agent on a mission to infiltrate the family and investigate Max's father for multiple crimes.

Yet the biggest crime of all is about to occur....

Three Latin American political powerhouses have arranged a secret meeting to take place aboard the Galapagos Treasure. Working on a potential transfer of the Galapagos Islands into the hands of the U.S., their intention is to reset the military balance in case of a future confrontation with China. However, Roy Villalobos's 'World War' is good for business, and provoking a conflict between two dominant nations is just what Roy has in mind to increase his wealth and reach the epitome of power.

Leonardo Wild Interview: Writer, Adventurer, Renaissance Man

    in Books

Join us for an interview with Leonardo Wild, a man who has hiked with natives in the Amazon, sailed over the world's oceans, and fought his way to a rightful place in today's thriller recognition with the Galapagos Agenda. http://amzn.com/B016Z3EYV6

Wild is a professional author with 11 books and 200 published articles as well as 42 produced scripts. He has travelled extensively: sailed across the Atlantic and the Pacific—was the skipper of a million-dollar yacht at the age of 24 in New Zealand and in 1989 survived  cyclone Harry, a Category 4. He has walked three times over the Andes into the Amazon jungle with Native Indians, took part in gold survey expeditions in Ecuador's rain forests, cycled across South America, built wooden houses, advised Ecuador's Central Bank on currency design; these, and many other experiences, are invariably being weaved into my writing.

    Swedenborg & Healing Prayer Service

A helpful book to look at is: Swedenborg, Mesmer, & the Mind/Body Connection: The Roots of Complimentary Medicine by Dr. John S. Haller Jr., emeritus professor of history and medical humanities at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. He has written a numbers of books, especially on the history of medicine.

In this book, Haller looks at both Emanuel Swedenborg [1688-1772] and Anton Mesmer [1734 – 1815] as possible roots of today’s wholistic healing movements. Swedenborg was 46 years old when Mesmer was born, and Mesmer was 38 years old when Swedenborg died.

    Haller says of Swedenborg:

He has been viewed as a genius whose vision and visions were marks of seminal importance. Along with Leonardo da Vinci, he is one of the great geniuses known to the Western world, a man whose abilities crossed a multitude of disciplines—from science and mechanics.
On the spiritual side, Swedenborg had no equal.

And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
    Matt 17:2

Geniuses think productively, not reproductively. When confronted with a problem, they ask “How many different ways can I look at it?” Genius often comes from finding a new perspective that no one else has taken. Leonardo da Vinci believed that to gain knowledge about the form of problems, you begin by learning how to restructure it in many different ways. He felt the first way he looked at a problem was too biased toward his usual way of seeing things. He would restructure his problem by looking at it from one perspective and move to another perspective and still another. With each move, his understanding would deepen and he would begin to understand the essence of the problem. Da Vinci called this process “knowing how to see.” Einstein’s theory of relativity is, in essence, a description of the interaction between different perspectives. Freud’s analytical methods were designed to find details that did not fit with traditional perspectives in order to find a completely new point of view. By not settling with one perspective, geniuses do not merely solve existing problems, like inventing an environmentally-friendly fuel; they identify new ones. It does not take a genius to analyze dreams; it required Freud to ask in the first place what meaning dreams carry from our psyche.
