We the people, have a clear understanding that we must obey the law. No doubt about it. We do not advocate breaking the law. However, we do insist on the opportunity to change the laws if they do not fit our public opinion as a majority. Thank goodness that we are in a country where our fore fathers have provided us with the necessary tools to do so. We live in a land where young men and women in uniform, defend our pursuit of happiness by laying their lives on the line over seas and domestically. Where a tribune of law is supposed to be fair and just to all of its citizens.
This radio station is dedicated to actively engage listeners and help raise awareness about the unjust laws in Virginia surrounding Marijuana.
We are the people. We are for the people and we are aware that if we can unite, we can make a difference.
ABOVE THE IGNORANCE.
A solution for a BROKEN ECONOMY. A STAND FOR THE RIGHTS of the American people. A voice for those oppressed by those who wear badges. This station is fueled by ENLIGHTED conciousness and PROTECTED by the 1st Amendment.
We are determined to spread the word and unite with those who already know it. The negative stigma that has been placed on Marijuana far surpasses Politics and is an infringement on the basic rights of human beings.
Are roses illegal? No that's silly, right? It's a plant. Why would it be illegal?
I know that if we unite, we are many. Many more than them.
We will lead the way, with peace and non judgement. Something that our law enforcement counter parts have neglected us for ages.
STOP THE OPRESSION TODAY.
those who STAND FOR NOTHING, are sure to FALL FOR ANYTHING.
ROLL UP, TUNE IN, PEACE OUT.
Why is it illegal in countries where it grows naturally, especially if it's part of their culture?

#8. In 1937, the guy who started this whole fiasco said...
"No one knows, when he places a marijuana cigarette to his lips, whether he will become a philosopher, a joyous reveler in a musical heaven, a mad insensate, a calm philosopher, or a murderer." ~ Harry J. Anslinger
And people still believe this... Let me help you out, America. You get mellow when you smoke. Whatever was troubling you hurts less now.Harry was right about it making music and stories better, but murderers and insensate? I haven't insensate since high school. (Someone should tell me what "insensate" means.)

Had someone told Cheri Sicard back in back in 1996, when California’s Prop 215 first legalized marijuana for medicinal use, that she would become entrenched in the cannabis movement and become a well known marijuana activist, she would not have believed them. Other than the rare toke at a party, Cheri didn’t use marijuana. It wasn’t until she was in her late 30’s when her doctor suggested she try cannabis to help with a chronic medical problem, that the herb became a permanent fixture in her life.
In the course of about 6 months Cheri went from the typical closeted American marijuana smoker to an outspoken cannabis advocate, and she hasn’t looked back since. She works with numerous marijuana reform groups and can frequently be found organizing rallies, speaking at city council meetings, and giving classes on various aspects of marijuana, as well as advocating for clemency efforts for prisoners serving life sentences for nonviolent marijuana offenses.
Cheri’s Cannabis Gourmet Cookbook (2012, Z-Dog Media) is one of the most popular and well reviewed books of its kind. Her new book, Mary Jane: The Complete Marijuana Handbook for Women (Seal Press) has been garnering great reviews in the world of cannabis and in the mainstream press as well.
Prior to entering the world of cannabis, Cheri worked as a professional writer, recipe developer, and internet entrepreneur. Her passions for patriotism and country can be found in her earlier books The Great American Handbook (2002 Berkley Trade Editions); U.S. Citizenship for Dummies (2003 Wiley); and Everyday American (2008 Bookspan).
Going back even further, Cheri spent her childhood and early adult years as a professional circus performer, magician and mentalist, jobs that allowed her to travel extensively around the country and the world.
The true believers in medical marijuana think it can cure any disease or at least make it a lot better. Total skeptics say the effects are all simply a result of the placebo effect. What is the middle ground?
There needs to be a way or recording when it does not work or when it causes serious side effects. We're not there yet. Until the ##*%$@ schedule 1 listing is removed, we will have to replly on anecdotes.

That issue, headlines, tweet of the week, and more will be discussed at 8pm Central on Liberal Dan Radio: Talk From The Left, That's Right!

Talking about marijuana with your doctor and an update on the multiple marijuana bills making their way through California’ state legislature are the topics of conversation with the guests on this podcast of Marijuana Compassion and Common at blogtalkradio.com/marijuananews.
Many patients want to let their doctor’s know about their marijuana use but are nervous about doing so, but it is important that your doctor’s know all the medications you are taking. Our first guest, Dr. Larry Bedard, an Emergency Room Physician and former President of both the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Marin Medical Society, realizes that this can be a touchy subject, but gives some tips on how best to broach the subject with your doctor.
There is a virtual avalanche of marijuana bills in the California State Legislature, the vast majority of them dealing with medical marijuana. As one of a handful of lobbyists in Sacramento for medical marijuana patients, Don Duncan, board member and co-founder of Americans for Safe Access, is one of the most knowledgeable persons on just what is going on in the state legislature and will give us an insider view.
