Black History Month - Joel Freeman

    in History

Black History Month is honored by our esteemed guest, Joel Freeman, who has one of the world's largest collections relative to black history.  Joel is known worldwide for the authority that he is.  He authored countless books on the topic and is a much after speaker.  On this show, Joel talks about several lesser known African Americans who made history--Frederick Douglass, Annie Malone, Hariet Tubman, Paul Cuffee, and a National Treasure who is making history today--Jesse Epps.  We also honor Presidents Day.
On February 19, we have Jesse Epps as Joyce talks about her heroes.        http://www.tobtr.com/s/6095307

    "Consciousness Archaeology" with Maximus Freeman

    in Self Help

My guest today is Maximus Freeman, the "Consciousness Archaeologist."  Many years ago he was, as he puts it, a "self-centered, egotistical, judgmental know-it-all."

"Needless to say," he adds, "I was not very well-liked or respected. I chalked this behavior off to 'This is just who I am; take it or leave it. It's not as if I can change or anything!'

It wasn't until he started reading self-improvement books in the mid-90s that he discovered that change is possible.  He also realized that if he was just a little bit nicer, less arrogant, egotistical and judgmental, people would start to like and respect him a little bit more."

Fast forward to today, and Maximus is the author of a new book, titled Consciousness Archaeology, where he chronicles his 20-year "exploration of the ebbs and flows of life from the dark night of the Soul to the radiant light of Presence." as he shares his unique perspective on many ancient truths and introduces several insightful theories of his own while injecting just a hint of humor.

To learn how you can also be a "consciousness archaeologist," listen in today!

The Rosetta Stone was carved in 196 B.C..
The Rosetta Stone was found in 1799 by French soldiers who were rebuilding a fort in Egypt.
The Rosetta Stone was found in a small village in the Delta called Rosetta (Rashid).
It is called the Rosetta Stone because it was discovered in a town called Rosetta (Rashid).

    A Conversation With Joel West

    in Comedy

Joel West is a comedian and writer and has been known to talk to lamp posts. He was born in Montreal in 1961 and as a child appeared in the Oscar nominated film “Lies my Father Told Me”. In 1976, while Joel was at summer camp, his parents moved to Toronto. Having tracked them down, Joel also relocated. At the University of Toronto he received several scholarships and awards, made the Dean’s list and, fearing that he might actually complete something, dropped out in his third year. He has worked as a short order cook, salesman, bookkeeper, messenger, technical support person and has received unemployment benefits on more than one occasion.

Joel has performed extensively in the Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto corridor and has also performed in Vancouver, Kitchener, Waterloo, Hamilton, London and Niagara Falls. He appeared in the, soon to be released film, Four Squared production’s “Conversion” a dark comedy of manners, written by Canadian author Kate MacDonald. He has also appeared at the Montreal Fringe Theatre Festival.

Joel has recently lost close to 100 lbs and is writing a book about his experience.

ISRAEL - The Truth and Nothing But... Joel Freeman

    in Current Events

Joel Freeman just returned from a taking a group of people on a tour in Israel.  He was there  when rockets fired on Israel.  Hear first hand what it is like to hear those warning sirens go off and to fear that your life is in jeopardy.

Every missile fired into Israel has a return address.  Israel has the right to protect itself and is responding decisively to THAT address.  Israel is using its weapons to protect its citizens.  Hamas is using their citizens to protect their weapons.  Innocent civilians in Gaza are used as human shields.  The bloodshed, the destruction and the devastation in Gaza fall squarely on the hands of Hamas.

Hear from Joel Freeman the truth and nothing but the truth about Israel.  Let us join together and pray for peace in Israel and around the world.

The ANU spiritual Order is a way of learning that allows the student to place themselves at the center of the learning experiences as opposed to memorizing rituals, names, and protocol that serve little when it comes down to reality reconstruction.

This class series is a hardcore spiritual initiation into the deeper truths of indigenous metaphysics and natural power.
