Born in Cuba, and now calling Miami, Florida home, JACKIE ARREDONDO has recently released her single, “Like We Used To” to international radio! This multi-talented artist has already gained attention with her with her EP, “Just Call Me Jackie,” which was produced in Nashville by Brian G White. In 2012, she was the first Latina to introduce the steel guitar to National Hispanic television, and she was the first Latina to introduce genuine country music with Spanish lyrics to Hispanic radio - reaching number one on the Latin radio charts with “The Woman You Wanna Be” (El Hombre Perfecto) and reaching number three with “Let Me Fall” (Por Que Eres Tan Cruel).
Canadian JAMES KEITH NORMAN proudly introduces his brand new album, “That’s Right,” and its first single, “In Trouble Now.” Each and every one of the nine tracks on “That’s Right,” his third album, was written by James, and recorded in Nashville. It has some real “heavyweight’ players involved: Jon Conley (Kenny Chesney) on guitar, Rob Hajacos (Garth Brooks, Taylor Swift, Shania Twain) on fiddle, Smith Curry (Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift, Little Big Town) on steel...just to name a few. His stepfather, Jimmy Coxson, was a successful pianist, well known around the jazz clubs and a staple at the CBC. His mother, Mona was an influential music booking agent, business music consultant, author and columnist at Canadian Musician magazine.

NOTE: THERE IS A 1 MINUTE DELAY AFTER OPENING COMMERCIAL ENDS AND PROGRAM BEGINS. Keith Mitchell, a former Pro Bowl linebacker with the New Orleans Saints, talks about his journey from NFL star to a popular yoga and meditation teacher. At a New York yoga festival Mitchell reflected on his transformation. “That’s so different from where I’ve come from because normally when I’d journey to the East Coast and New York City I would not be bringing peace typically. We would come here to beat up on the New York Giants and New York Jets.”
While it may seem strange to see a retired NFL veteran leading an outdoor yoga festival, Mitchell’s journey to his current profession as a certified yoga and meditation instructor actually started with a very scary moment on the football field in 2003. In a Week Two game versus the Buffalo Bills, Mitchell, then playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars, ended up suffering a serious injury when making a tackle.
While he tried to briefly return to the field after the injury, Mitchell’s NFL career was done. Now living in Los Angeles, Mitchell gravitated to yoga and meditation more and more over the past decade as he sought a way to make peace with the physical and mental consequences of no longer being a football player.
“Unless you create a system of healing or working through it, it just gets bigger and bigger and it grows and manifests. The family that person gets involved with or the kids they have, they suffer.” Join us for Keith's triumphant story.
