Let’s Talk About Dating in 2015

    in Romance

I've noticed that men and women make the comment that women are shallow and men are shallow. I know some really good men, with good head on their shoulders and they may feel like women don't cook, or clean, or women still want to party, or are materialistic. Women feel like men are immature, won't settle down, are cheap, etc...

The factor of “the right people” finding and getting to be with “the right people” plays a huge role in relationships and the respective outcomes and thus people’s perspectives of “who is out there”.  Your perspective will be colored based on your experiences, whether they are more positive or negative…

Let talk about the dating in 2015

    in Religion

Today's institutional church has some very serious troubles.
Does it resemble the family of God spoken of in the New Covenant?
Does anybody really see the disparity?
How is it that almost no one appears to notice that there are almost no similarities?

The challenge of “no spiritual discipleship” that the institutional church has rarely if ever addressed, and probably cannot address, has devastating eternal effects. Why is it that these modern "spiritual men/women" are not taking their followers back to the place that is so clearly outlined in scripture?

  • Spiritual Awakening-Aging is Optional& Breaking Old Patterns&FREE PSYCHIC READ

    in Spirituality

2 HOUR SHOW!!!  Spiritual Awakening has many aspects to it and I will cover the details of acceptance of aging in detail.

Yes, our chronological years tell us our age, however, aging is optional.  I do not understand what it means when someone says to act your age.  Seriously, is there a certain norm that we must follow as we chronologically get older. Does that mean that we have to stop laughing and joking around?  There's a difference between immaturity.  One can be immature in their 20's with humour that is not funny. As you spiritually awaken you will find the inner child within. You will see things for the first time perhaps just like a child.

Do we have to dress a certain way?  I am into style and I think body image is important for us individually. It's feeling good about yourself.  If you hate looking in the mirror there is some body dysmorphic dysfunctioning occurring and this can happen at any age. I noticed many women who are middle aged resent young women.  I will explain why this occurs and if you are one of these women how to deal with it. This is a major issue for many middle aged women as they feel they have lost their youth.  Youth is within.  So, this will lead me into breaking old patterns. These patterns may need to be broken for any age group regarding love relationships and simply bad habits and negative thinking.

Life is simple. However, people make it much harder than it really is and that's because of fear and negative thinking. Let's break these patterns. Shall we?

King Warrior Magician Lover - The Archetypes of Mature Masculine

    in Spirituality

The Outer Limits of Inner Truth presents an in-depth interview with Dr. Robert Moore  and focuses on his book "King, Warrior, Magician, Lover: Rediscovering the Archetypes of the Mature Masculine." The show features three questioners including previous OLIT Guests Chris Duane & Ryan Brooks. In "King Warrior", Dr, Moore and his co-author Douglas Gillette explore today's crisis in masculine identity and describe its two major causes - the disappearance of masculine rites of passage and patriarchy itself. They define the four mature male archetypes - the King (the energy of just and creative ordering), the Warrior (the energy of self-disciplined, aggressive action), the Magician (the energy of initiation and transformation), and the Lover (the energy that connects men to others and the world) - as well as the four immature patterns (Divine Child, Oedipal Child, Precocious Child, and Hero). Moore and Gillette believe the developmental history of every man is, in large part, the story of his failure or success at discovering within himself the archetypes of mature masculinity.

Dr. Robert Moore </a>is Distinguished Service Professor of Psychology, Psychoanalysis and Spirituality in the Graduate Center of the Chicago Theological Seminary where he is the Founding Director of the new Institute for Advanced Studies in Spirituality and Wellness. An internationally recognized psychoanalyst and consultant in private practice in Chicago, he has served as a Training Analyst at the C.G. Jung Institute of Chicago and is Director of Research for the Institute for Integrative Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy and the Chicago Center for Integrative Psychotherapy.

Paranormal Temptation: Fact checking your resources New or Research

    in Paranormal

If we do not do fact checking at all times when readings a simple "paranews article"  but yet take it to heart enough to judge how can we say we properly do it when researching topics during Investigations. Are you fact checking properly? or relying on the proper resources including news articles and books? Are you feeding and making these satire "journalists" money.

A recent article about ASAP Entertainment by John Albrecht Jr has brought into light an ongoing serious issue in the Parafeild that I would finally like to address. NO ONE FACT CHECKS with articles about people. Most articles written with the intent to gain readers. "sell books" "gain clicks" all for money. This normally isn't a a huge deal as they are typically just articles rewritten from a reliable resource but sensationalized with a personal twist, It does calls into question why we as investigators need to fact check even with rumors. Peoples carriers are made and broken with rumors, claims with out all facts. If we do not do fact checking at all times how can we say we properly do it when researching topics during Investigations.

The goal of this show is to go over how to fact check resources, how parasitical "journalists" like this and others effect the field and why it is important not to encourage them by sharing or clicking allowing them to get paid. WE DO INVITE JOHN TO CALL IN IF HE CAN ACTUALLY ADDRESS THESE ISSUES IN A MATURE MANNER and not the people presenting the facts as a immature and last resort to debunk/discredit facts that are presented.

We also invite any one to call in that has ben a victim of something like this if they have factual proof.

"Men Talk Monday" Men Who Won't Grow Up

    in Family

It’s as if these young men have developed a warped idea of manhood.  They think becoming a man means getting to do whatever they want.  So for them, starting a family means giving up their cherished independence.  With that type of mindset, you wonder what type of husbands and fathers they will be when they finally set aside their childish ways.

"While none of us ever outgrow the need for having other men to mentor us, it is an absolute essential for those who would admit that their teenage tendencies are still pretty strong inside. If you find yourself grown but still exhibiting immature, adolescent behavior on a fairly regular basis, you need people around you who can call you up and out.”

Our sinful, human nature craves independence; we want to go our own way, and avoid the responsibilities of commitment to God and to other people.  As Isaiah 53:6 tells us, “All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way.”

We live in a culture that celebrates youth and beauty and independence—even at the expense of growing up.  Many young men today immerse themselves in a world of media entertainment and diversions that tell them it’s okay to live a self-centered lifestyle, free of commitments to anything beyond endless and mindless pleasure.

In a world like this, where can men—young and old—learn how to become real men?  The simple answer is:  From other men.  Whether we are young or old, we need other men in our lives who will teach us, model for us, and encourage us to make the right choices.

The Lasting Legacy of Kris Kross!

    in Hip Hop Music

"At that time, young rappers weren't really being respected in the business. I would say humbly that we opened the doors for a lot of young rappers in the business today. Cause it's not really a new thing now, all you see is young rappers. I think we opened the doors, at least we were one of the first to open the doors for young rappers to get that respect"

Chris Smith AKA Daddy Mac of Kris Kross

When you reflect on the 90's, there definitely was no shortage of  young rappers to hit the scene and left their mark on the industry.  While Kris Kross may not have been the first but they definitely made the biggest splash and their legacy is far reaching until this day.  The success of acts featuring minors like Immature, Da Youngsta's, 3-T, Lil Vicious and So For Real along with others others were somewhere along the line aided directly or indirectly by Mac Daddy & Daddy Mac and their backwards clothes fashion statement.

Kris Kross garnered a great deal of respect from the industry and by doing so shifted the spotlight towards the attention of young people and their skills. Here is just a sample some of their accomplishments:

Their smash hit "Jump", which was No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks and certified double platinum as a single becoming the first rap song to have achieved so long a run at the top at 11 and 12 years old
Their debut album, Totally Krossed Out was released March 31 that year and sold four million copies in the U.S
Toured with Michael Jackson across Europe in 1992

Chris Smith AKA Daddy Mac was a guest on Down With The Kings and reflected on the legacy of Kris Kross, the passing of best friend Chris Kelly (Mac Daddy) and what is was like to tour with the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

The War on Masculinity and Manhood.

    in The Bible

If you take out the men you win the war, it's that simple and the elites know it. That is why for the last thirty to forty years there has been a nonstop assault on what it means to be a man. Traditional masculinity is no longer presented to young boys as the way they should pattern their lives and the image of a man in media has been replaced by bumbling buffoons or sex crazed dogs. Why has this happened? Because Western culture is under attack, the old world order is to be crushed allowing the new world order to emerge and that cannot happen if the culture is guarded by strong men. This week Gary Fox talks about this assault on masculinity and shares several key characteristics of Godly masculinity which we need to instill in our boys and to call immature males to strive for.
