This week we will not only be infused with imagination, but also with alcohol! We will be continuing our Fall “Wet Your Whistle” series on Wednesday, December 10th at noon LIVE from our offices with Colin Asare-Appiah. The Bacardi Portfolio Master Mixologist will be whipping us up some innovative new cocktails, perhaps even some of the final contenders of Bombay’s “The World’s Most Imaginative Bartender” competition.
It should come as no surprise that the company whose namesake is a 182 carat sapphire entitled the Star of Bombay enjoys crowning the best bartenders in the world. The real gem of the company, however, is their brand new distillery, Laverstoke. Designed by multiple award winning designer, Thomas Heatherwick, the distillery boasts a BREEAM award for sustainability and two stunning, intertwining botanical glasshouses. These glasshouses are meant to maintain two separate climates, one tropical and one temperate to foster the ten botanicals from around the world infused into every bottle of Bombay. If we are lucky, maybe Gary will reveal if the rumor about these gin botanicals making people angry is true, or a complete hoax.
So get your shakers ready. If we can have martinis on a Wednesday afternoon then so can you!
William Hayward "Mookie" Wilson (born February 9, 1956) is a former Major League Baseball outfielder and coach best remembered as the Met that hit the ground ball that trickled through Bill Buckner's legs in game six of the 1986 World Series. A switch hitter with excellent speed, his positive attitude and hustle immediately endeared him to a New York Mets fan base with precious few stars to root for when he first came up in the early 1980s. He was enshrined in the New York Mets Hall of Fame in 1996.

From Wikipedia.org: Found footage is a genre of film making, especially horror, in which all or a substantial part of a film is presented as discovered film or video recordings, often left behind by missing or dead protagonists.
Terry M. West and Pleasant Storm Entertainment, Inc. present a revolutionary approach to the horror fiction anthology. JOURNALS OF HORROR: Found Fiction is a collection of terror inspired by the mechanics of the found footage horror film. In JOURNALS OF HORROR, the stories presented are horrific encounters committed to paper, item or device and discovered later. Each tale is a case file that has been transcribed from some type of unearthed diary. These tales can be discovered anywhere.
This anthology is filled with some of the hottest talent in the horror fiction genre: P.D. Cacek, Todd Keisling, Glenn Rolfe, Robin Dover, DS Ullery, Essel Pratt, Michael Thomas-Knight, John Ledger, Paul D. Marks, Sonja Thomas, Paula Cappa, Stuart Keane, Darryl Dawson, Crystal Leflar, Lori R. Lopez, Michael Seese, Jeff O’Brien, Matt Hayward, Joseph Ramshaw, Michael McGlade, DJ Tyrer, Wesley Thomas, Regina West, Evan Purcell, Robert McGough, Erik Gustafson, Christopher Alan Broadstone and Robert Holt.
JOH is the first anthology written entirely in epistolary form.

In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec will break down the game between the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles. The 53-20 victory, for the Packers, was the second straight game scoring 50 points. With the Detroit Lions losing, the Packers now find themselves tied for first place, in the NFC North. The loss drops the Eagles into a tie with the Dallas Cowboys, who had a bye. For the second straight week, Matt Flynn saw extended playing time. This means that the game was out of hand early. The Eagles did not get into the end zone, until late in the 3rd quarter. Mark Sanchez threw two interceptions and lost two fumbles. Sunday's game was just not the Aaron Rodgers show. He did throw for 341 yards, and three touchdowns. However, special teams and defensive also provided some scoring. Micah Hyde had a 75 yard punt return, in the first quarter. That score gave the Packers a 17-0 lead. Then Julius Peppers, returned an interception 52 yards, to make the score 39-6. The last score of the game; for the Packers, was a Casey Hayward 49 yard fumble return. Listen to the show and leave your comments, on twitter: @RedLightSports or @Edubsrlsn
Lumumba has worked to defend the rights of African American activists and communities. He has educated and organized student activists throughout the Midwest and the South and persuaded universities to attract and cultivate people of color. He has been on the frontline of protecting African American communities from drug trafficking and gang violence. He has opposed rights violations by local, state, and national law enforcement and intelligence agencies and vigilante groups; he has confronted the Ku Klux Klan in Michigan and Mississippi.
Lumumba became an advocate for the protection of Black communities, following attacks by local police and vigilante groups. Rather than harassing the so-called “radical leadership”, special units of the Detroit police, had begun targeting the African American community for “pre-emptive action”.
Lumumba confronted these abuses with community patrols against violence and drug dealing and an urban scout program for young people to protect themselves against gang and racial attacks. He created the Malcolm X Center to educate and train young Black activists. He established Africa-centric schools to teach the dismantling of racism and sexism and inspire Black pride. He challenged the excessive rates for heat and electricity being charged residents of poor neighborhoods.
